I'm guessing company, as NMB48 are managed by Yoshimoto Kogyo, who dominate Japan's comedy scene... And have been exposed for their ties with the yakuza. It makes sense that three guys with an history of gambling addiction would end up hanging out with girls whose agency is a big yakuza washing machine, since Japan's gambling business is controlled by the yakuza. Note that Mackenyu was romantically linked with Murase Sae, another NMB48 member.
