It is but as far as I know it is usually used to denote slightly less serious offences.

This is all so fucked up, I hope the women can find justice, abuse seems to be rampant in the entertainment industry, more needs to be done to bring awareness and hold people accountable when it comes to this issues.

Definitely shocked and dissapointed with Mackenyu. I can't believe that he's this type of person. Ugh Shirota Yu and Ayano Go too...wtf. Sleeping with minors??! Watch as these guys' careers won't be that much affected just like Yamapi who still get jobs and endorsement deals. 

I can't believe I missed these reports that's at least 10 days old. I was too busy with work.

Not only there's dirt on Mackenyu and Shirota Yu but also Sato Takeru and Miura Shohei. Rumor has it that Sato Takeru is an asshole and he's actually a part of the group of gang along with Shirota Yu and others who had been bullying Haruma Miura. If true this disgusts me because when Haruma died, Shirota Yu received the shocking news while he was preparing to perform on stage on a music show (Music Fair if I recall correctly) and he was singing emotionally crying with tears while dedicating it to Haruma. I wonder are all those tears fake (crocodile tears) just to take advantage of the situation to put a spotlight on him/to show what "a good friend" he was or was it regret and guilty conscience that kicked in. Takeru has been said to be an asshole but he has big connections thus why he's still relevant and getting roles to this day. He's an opportunitist and good at shifting the spotlight onto himself. When Haruma died, Takeru was good at talking, acting, speaking on Haruma like a "good friend". These two used to be good friends with Haruma but no so much as of near the time leading up to Haruma's death. There's been rumors popping up that a group of celebs(not only the supposed drama staffs/fellow cast members) -the exact names of these celebs had been hush hush-  had been bullying Haruma to the point of his suicide. 

Miura Shohei has been cheating on Kiritani Mirei. Sigh. This one I'm not surprised. Almost every married celeb couple in Japan has had these cheating problems. It's very common. Their husbands are also immature and irresponsible af (not being a responsible husband and dad). I always feel so bad for these female celebs/actresses who married trashy male celebs/actors and I always questioned why they decided to marry them when they always ended up getting screwed up and cheated on. When we know these girls deserve and can do so much better. I'm glad Maeda Atsuko and Anne Watanabe escaped out of this and seem too be living pretty well by themselves with their kids. But others like Nozomi Sasaki is trapped and still stood by her trash comedian husband. So pitiful. I'm sure she was gaslighted by him but she is in need of proper help like someone who can make her realize her worth. I hope Mirei wakes up and knows what her husband has been doing behind her back, she deserves better. I just hope nothing will happen to Nana Komatsu. I know Suda Masaki is head over heels in love with her but still, we don't know what will happen down the road in the future years. People can change. I just hope that they last long like Sorimachi and Nanako. I also wonder about Erika Toda and Tori Matsuzaka (because there's rumor that Tori was a playboy).

There's also some stuff like female idols from AKB48 and Nogizaka46 hung out with them but also getting mistreated by them.

Haruma Miura's life story was so sad and tragic. His mom never really genuinely cared for him and was always using him, always asking for money. Not only he doesn't have a good family love/support system, he also doesn't seem to have anyone else to rely on for support and proper help, and then people in the industry including his friends treated him like dirt.

 

 

Oh somebody in the comments also mentioned that Mackenyu is friends with EXO's Chanyeol (who slept with various girls behind his gf's back). It's true I remember seeing posts/updates by EXO fans about Mackenyu and Chanyeol mentioning each other that they're friends. Like if Mackenyu goes to Korea, he would hangout with Chanyeol and some other friends from the "same circle" and vice versa if his Korean friends were in Japan which if I recall correctly there's also a mention of him being friends/acquainted with Jonghyun (former CN Blue member who also got exposed in the JJY/Burning Sun group chat). Birds of a feather flock together.

I know his  mother is awful, but I've never heard rumors of him being bullied in the industry.  He was my favorite Japanese actor and such a sweet guy.

There was also rumor/gossip posted on Twitter by random Japanese people right around the time Haruma's death that the strained friendship with Sato Takeru was going on for few years because of the rivalry/competitiveness between the two. Ofc most people were trying to shut this rumor up at the time when this popped up because it didn't seem appropriate to gossip and exploit  it because it's disrespectful to Haruma during his passing. Also at the time people didnt believe such accusations because most still believed or still want to believe that they were still close good friends.

I do not equate the Yamapi and Mackenyu cases. Because while one of them slept with a girl he met in an adult-only bar who lied about her age by got in with a fake ID, the other got her drunk and slept with her without her consent. Big difference, I think.

As far as I know Mackenyu was obsessed with Nogi's Yoda Yuuki at one point, she thankfully never reciprocated his interest. He apparently dated Shimazaki Haruka after her graduation. Likely did not last for long, as Paruru gets tired of people very quickly. Hori Miona had a crush on him shortly before her graduation but he didn't care about her.

Wasn't Taka's ex Okamoto Natsuki? Mackenyu was caught breaching lockdown with her in Okinawa back in 2020. Seems it was the year where shit hit the fan.
