It looks like 2022 is looking great for music!

I thought 2022 would be bad because of January & February hits were so bad. But March & April was so much better.

Well, I don't know about y'all but it's looks like my 2022 will be great....(but there might be a sight setback). I know I was complaining about a drought few days ago but since Kendrick Lamar announced his new album, I just became so excited!!!

- Red Velvet had one the best comeback this year, I really enjoyed. Both Wildside & FMR was great, the JPN album was also good. And not only that but they will have more comeback this year!

- ITZY will probably comeback soon. They also released their debut JPN single, which was so okay. I liked Voltage.

- TWICE will also probably comeback soon. Maybe May/June. I was hoping for May cause I'm sick & tired of summer comeback + Kendrick will release his album in May, which will make shipping fees less. The only thing worrying me here is that they don't renew -_-

- Kendrick Lamar will release his album May 13th, lol. I almost had an heart attack when I saw it. Anyway, anticipating. I can't f*cking wait!

My other western faves probably won't have a comeback this year. I thought Kendrick wouldn't release until 2023, so this was quite a surprise. 

 

Other groups who are not my bias has also delivered:

- NMIXX, as much as people curse them out for their debut single. I honestly enjoyed both songs, as a matter of fact so far they're my most played song for the year.

- (G)-Idle also delivered a solid album.

- OMG, the title track was not it. But the bsides was great.

- I also kinda enjoyed GOT, Stray Kids, Taeyeon, Vivid & Apink comeback.

I agree! The albums released by my favorite pop girls this year have been amazing so far (Caprisongs by Twigs, American Gurl by Kilo Kish, Crash by Charli, Tinashe's deluxe album, just to name a few). And Pinkpantheress' collab with Willow is coming out in a couple days so there's something I'm really excited about. On top of that kpop (moreso on the girl group side) has been amazing as usual, it's been really solid overall.

This year is so exciting for me with music. I've enjoyed everything from Taeyeon, BigBang, gidle and Red Velvet so far. 

My metal faves are coming in HARD.

Rammstein released two singles: Ziet and Zick Zack. Thoroughly enjoying those. Slipknot's releasing an album sometime in the summer. Korn's album is good. Avril Lavigne released a good album.

The year has been great for me too. I love that the GFriend ladies have been making great music and Onew as well, love his slbum and how it shows his versatility (i hope his next album shows off his trot singing too).

Red Velvet's Wild Side and Taeyeon's INVU are my favorite 2022 songs so far. And I gave NMIXX's debut tt such a harsh review but i do love Tank.

NCT Dream's Glitch Mode is vibrant fun. Can't believe it took me until Hot Sauce to notice and appreciate them.

It hasbeen a good year for music so far.

And, they didn't release anything new but, WOOHOO! for 2ne1's stellar Coachella reunion!
