It's four & half months into 2022 & none of JYPE girl group announced a comeback.

It's four & half months into 2022 & none of JYPE girl group. Excluding their overseas girl group Nizu & the new girl group NMIXX. But their older girl groups - ITZY & TWICE.

 

This is concerning, lol. I wonder what they are up to. By this point in 2021, ITZY was releasing teasers for MITM & TWICE comeback was announced for June.

Normally, they will announced the comeback 3 - 4 weeks before. TWICE 3rd full album was announced 6 weeks prior to their November comeback in 2021. Crazy In Love/Loco was announced at the end of August & released in late September.

I was expecting ITZY to comeback in April/May. But it's mid-April & no announcements has been made. Maybe announce in late April & comeback in late May? Or maybe TWICE comebacks before ITZY? Summer comeback for ITZY & Spring comeback for TWICE? But TWICE have concerts in late May so I don't think so.

Anyway, I'm bored. TWICE our savior, please hurry up & comeback!

What this have to do with Blackpink? I don't stan BP. ONCEs are spoiled, we are used to having a comeback at this point. BP stan are used their 1 - 1.5 year comeback. We are not the same.

Korean comeback. JPN comeback aren't promoted that much, promotion for Voltage ended 2 weeks ago lol. They’re doing anything now.

I can understand TWICE since they’re touring now & even then TWICE normally have comeback in between concerts.

All I want is an announcement. The further away the announcement, the further away the comeback is. Announcement is normally a month before.

Y'all don't get it! Y'ALL ARE USE TO IT. This is not normally for ONCEs & Midzys. We are used to an announcement at this point. An announcements gets us excited. Sure, I don't expect a comeback now, just an announcement.

Yes, they are on vacation now. I think the foreign members just return to Korea. They have concerts in Japan on April 23 - 25 & in US on May 14 - 15. I'm sure we would have heard an comeback announcement by now or next month. Alcohol-Free/Taste of Love was announced in mid-April last year.

I'm really surprised that an announcement hasn't been made for ITZY.

But BLACKPINK a rare case tho~ No one can compare to them in that aspect, especially JYP groups that release multiple albums in a year

I think TWICE are at the point in their career where they’ll probably be doing what they’ve done the past two years. Summer comeback then a studio album in the last quarter of the year. 
 

I bet ITZY are preparing for a late May / early June comeback right now, tbh,

TWICE is raking in the money doing massive concerts, well for a girl group in recent times, in the US.

ITZY just did a Japan release.

They don't care about the miniscule Korean market which is saturated with 1000 GGs.

A lot of groups have kind of scrambled around their comeback timelines a lot because of the sudden opening up of touring in the USA and every Kpop company is eager to make money there. Twice will probably comeback in the summer, announcement about contract renewals afterwards (since they expire in October) and then all things going well, release in Q4.

I know ITZY probably preparing for an comeback now. JYPE would normally announce the comeback before they even film the MV or so on.

They still need to comeback even if they're big. But that's not the point, I'm not saying they're never going to comeback. But that I'm surprised because it's not something that normally happens.

No matter it they are scrambling to get to concerts. TWICE normally comeback in between. When they had TWICEland tour in 2017 they came back with Knock Knock & Signal in between those time. As matter a fact the comeback was announced even before the tour. In 2019 Twicelights, they announced Fancy in February & came back in April & started touring in May. Announced Feel Special in August & came back in September & continued touring until February 2020.

 

Overall, it's strange that not one comeback for neither groups have been announced. I guess some non-fans wouldn't get it. ONCES on Twitter were losing their mind few days ago. More & More and Alchool-Free were announced in April & they came back in June, that's why I thought we would get an announcement by now.
