maybe initially, but it's obvious now that they all want the exemption.

well technically they're still in a war with North Korea...and you never know with Kim Jong Un...he might feel emboldened by Russia invading Ukraine and China looking to "reclaim" Taiwan sometime in the near future.

here is the non technical but actual fact: the younger generation is living in peaceful times they don't know what war is, they only practice and a few unlucky can step on NK mines

look at Ukraine, some men went to country side to avoid forced military service because they don't have the will to Kill another person, but they are willing to fight by other means/methods that don't include violence etc..

forced military service is a very questionable law that i am sure will be gone in the future

younger generation has gotten complacent and lazy.  

As for the Ukrainian men that fled, they're cowards who didn't step up to defend their home.  It's the brave ones that stayed behind and continue to fight that have been able to stall and push back the Russian advance.

It’s not like they had tons of promos since Butter. They could be halfway through enlistment by now. 
 

Whatever happens, they probably have enough money and fans to live well for the rest of their lives.

covid was the perfect opportunity for them to enlist.
