You know I'm open for anyone's opinion, After all I host for you guys to play and enjoy the games instead of feeling unfair while playing, so it just makes me feel sorry when this happen

I do understand you and as a matter of opinion, and might be cause I watched this game played I thought conspirators did some mistakes at the starts like Lee insisting on making obv lies which I still think it gave you guys so early but regardless I will work harder on fixing my games ❤️ thanks to you for sticking around too

You already work hard sweety, no need to work harder. I think the rule issue was overlooked simply because it was hosted before as you said, and if no one noticed back then, yeah it would be hard to realize there is an issue with a previously hosted game.

Lee had no way out. If she tried to twist direct questions like is satan your teammate, it would still be obvious she's a conspirator (as the backers on the other hand can tell the truth straight up, untwisted). The only shot conspirators have is if their team was unknown to others like in the chicken and wolf/dog game.

I don’t agree that this was a backers only game, to even out the playing field, all the conspirators had to do was be chill and not trolly and ott, that would have massively confused the King as to who was actually telling the truth.

If you want to change things up, I think a shorter game with three rounds in one day could work. Potentially for a three day long game, you could also have it so that anyone the King hasn’t recruited or checked could have their roles swapped around at the start of every new day, I think more players would be needed for that and a few more things would have to be figured out.

Anyway, thank you for hosting @Trashie and for trying something new 💕

thanks, actually it was originally planned as a one day game but for some reason which are I'm not sure I will find enough players to play at a certain timezone and second because I'm not sure how free I can be at any day and this should have a day prior the game sign up... thats why I planned to make it longer game.. but thats fine! hopefully at least you guys had fun ❤️

well its probably was a real life game instead of forum long game but anw, the obv lies lee made I was talking about is like, when bel said we've been playing for 2 hours and he quoted her with no its been only one hour or something... I mean it was funny but unnecessary if you want to try to win

anw thank you again ❤️

Be chill and answer no questions? If you read the screenshot under my spoiler, you will see what happens if a conspirator answers any question at all. That's the reason why they were trolly, they can't answer, like at all.

Read them and let me know what way out they would have, what would you have done if you were asked those questions as a conspirator?

Even with unrelated statements like that, with questions directly related to the game, like is she your teammate and is she a backer, Lee or anyone would be cold dead. I believe ther's no way for them to even try to win is what im saying, but people keep addressing trolly comments instead of the actual questions highlighted

Thanks for the game! Understandable what participants are criticizing about this game, but everything's a trial and error. I felt like the game needed a bit of a challenge or twist (ex: a backer ended up being the spy). Regardless, I liked how this game was pretty chill and the roles were fun to play. It's less intense/stressful than the other long games I've participated in. Thanks for hosting it ❤️

Joyrider sounded like the spy to me 100% lmao rip my guess

the way I picked haruxcheese for like the first 2 rounds cause I was sure of Haru being definitely a conspirator since she didn't even answer and then I literally pointed it out in the pm how she could technically be the spy, but she would have said the true to my questions instead of not answering so I just dismissed it until I checked last round and it was actually her 😭 icant

@Trashie can I see all the roles cards uwu, I want to know which member was which

Also I don't agree with Satan about how it's impossible to win for the conspirators. I think because I know the show Trashie based this game on, I saw it played before and it was definitely a fun and not so easy game. but also since I had the knowledge of it, I knew right away what kind of questions to ask and then I just had to follow the same facts, so maybe it wouldn't have been that straightforward with completely going blind in it.

The conspirators could have tried to gaslight early and if the other team claim they are lying, they can just claim they are the one lying too, unless you don't ask the very specific questions, it is hard to know who is a liar. I think the way Satan carefully chosen her words so it doesn't sound like a lie was a good way to play, instead of just constantly saying obvious lies. If everyone played more like this, I can see the king being really confused. You only need 1 conspirator in the lineup to win, which is not that hard to achieve imo? The King literally just have to slip once.

Also one thing that is very different in the game hosted and could not make it so easy for the king is that the king could only ask 1 QUESTION per round to each person, so no double up question that would make it obvious who is your teammate or not. I think Trashie didn't keep in the rule since it was a long game and it would have been boring, but it also makes sure that the king cannot just know right away in the first round and then have more chance to make a mistake. Also the fact that if this was played as a faster game, you would get more stressed cause you have less time to think.

Overall I don't think the game was impossible, even myself sometimes I was doubting ? Especially with the spy in the mix, by trying to avoid the spy you could have recruited a conspirator instead. It depends on a lot of factors tbh, the person who is the king and their playstyle, as the players playstyle, etc

Thank you for the game Trashie ❤️ I wasn't the most entertaining or present king but I hope It wasn't too bad

Joy had a good reasoning for her what appears to be half truth and we decided to let it slide as a lie  because why not

like she dropped her team names... it was a mix of conspirators and backers.. so the team is whole is wrong so whatever she said was a lie... so

Disagree and none of you have addressed my questions. I wonder if people just won't open up the spoiler or if they don't want to address it for the sake of justifying their point.

Again, regardless of what team or how anyone played. And even with the 1 question per round per player thing:

Round 1:
Lee, is satan a backer? Yes

Round 2:

Lee, is satan your teammate? No

If satan is a backer and not your teammate then you're obviously a conspirator. And since you are a conspirator, your answers must have been a lie so Satan is your teammate(even without having to ask satan any questions)

The other example was:

Satan, is cheese your teammate? Yes (I'm lying)

Cheese, is satan your teammate? No

Then to figure out who is telling the truth in R2,

Cheese is winter your teammate? Yes

Winter, is cheese your teammate? Yes

Satan is lee your teammate? No

Lee is satan your teammate? No

The people who satan claims as team(backers) don't claim her, and she is saying the others are not her team,  then who is her team? Btw, relying on the king to flop and not ask the right question or not be observant isn't on team.

Again, to anyone who disagrees, its fine I'm all ears and I do like a good discussion. But at least address what has been asked instead of vague af statements like 'they could have gaslighted early on'. Even with that kind of statement, give an example to show how it could work.

One of the team here played regardless of any motives for prizes or anything, kept the thread going. The least some of ya'll could do is pay attention to the concern instead of simply dismissing it as a who is wrong or right justification.

Thanks for hosting Trashie ♡

First I'm sorry cuz I feel like the spy role could've been so much more entertaining but it was given to a passive player like me 💔 I was scared to mess up the whole time and made it boring

My plan was to help the conspirators until Joy was recruited, but as conspirators we never agreed on anything, we could've planned an act but there was a lack of communication ;-; we messed up because we couldn't agree on a narrative to follow the entire game

I did open your spoiler and I still stand by what I already said. It's just a game and it's over so no I'm not gonna delve on it. I'm not out here making an essay to improve the game nor give examples nor I have to. I just said some thoughts that's it. Don't have to come at me like that because you didn't vibe with my opinion? Hell sis that is just a rude comment for no reason.🤷‍♀️

This game is mostly dependant on the players and how they decide to play it. There is nothing else I want to add on this.

Yesss don't worry it was fun thinking of how to approach the ~pls recruit joy~ mission. I just feel bad because me being the spy was unexpected and I could've used that in my favor. I could've done more:( that's what I regret.

Thank you Trashie for the game it was fun and congrats to the winning team!

I agree that it would have been extremely difficult for conspirators to win. Impossible, no. Did we make huge mistakes? Yes. But Bel is smart, and she would’ve cracked the case at some point anyway.

Reason being, I felt like the only way for conspirators to win is:

1. all conspirators have to claim all their teammates as backers, that way we sound just as consistent as the backers.

2. Confusion

Stan has already illustrated why #1 would still be extremely difficult.

I tried #2 but botched it + I think the damage was already done, backers looked too United already. Someone said “the confusing ones are confusing for a reason” and that’s why it doesn’t work, the backers don’t need to do much work to look good.

Conspirators have these things working against them: have to lie, cannot strategize with each other in PM, king gets to check three players each round, backers know who they all are, we also had a spy amongst us.
Backers don’t have anything working against them except the spy. They can’t lie but they have no reason to.

I do want to clarify I enjoyed the game. But in my opinion, definitely unbalanced. If it’s hosted again, it’ll be great with some major tweaks.

❤️

Umm how exactly is my point rude? Im speaking very objectively,  not providing my own opinions. I like discussions though and I understand if you interpret it as rude,  but that is not at all my intention.

It is just a game, I agree. And I wouldn't have shared the concern past the PM I wrote, if it weren't for the commentary put forward.  You lot are saying conspirators lost because Lee was too direct or we were too trolly? That we could have gaslighted? It wasn't backer biased? Um no, none of this would top nor explain the main issue raised.

As joyrider mentioned,  we can confuse the king only assuming that king is like really floppy and avoids the conclusions from direct questions about teammates and randomly focuses on gas lighting statements.

Any objective and unbiased person would agree that the game was very unbalanced, instead of nitpicking some player's Gameplay. That isnt nice either is it?

It was simply a rule issue. I think we all could've just admitted this and moved on instead of the vague and unsupported statements, which again,  was not even related to the point raised.

I was not the only one being mean or stubborn if you truly think about it.

1. I claim you as a backer. Bel then asks, is joy your teammate? I have no choice but to say no. So we can't both be backers but not be teammates.  This method seems pretty impossible?

2 . I agree with your point about the PM. Maybe if put into the same pm we could plan some confusion.  But again,  would this be assuming that the king will rely on our confusion statements more than the responses from her direct questions in no1?

Maybe, if the conspirator team was unknown to others + they had a PM, both the strategies could work me thinks 🤔

1. Well, I think the others’ point was that you could use clever wording to evade it, like if they ask “Is Lee your teammate?” you could say “Lee and I are definitely backers” which would still be a lie, or say something snarky. But, a smart king or backer would see right through that. So yeah pretty unlikely for it to work.

2. Yeah. That would work much better. Some type of nerf to the backer/king team + buff to conspirator team.

I think it works as longer as well with some tweaks. It was my first game in twoish yrs, maybe even three and I did enjoy it!

— — — — — —

Conspirators had to get one person into the team to win, just one, with the King having to question 8 people and sus out the spy to make sure they don’t end up on the team. Was it difficult for conspirators? Yes, was it impossible? No it was not. So I don’t see the point in souring the experience with complaining because that’s what it is now and not just simple con crit.

It’s turned into complaining because people have been very condescending to Satan about this game. Have you asked the conspirators why they made the choices they made? We’re trying to give our perspective of the game as people who actually played as conspirators. A win being possible doesn’t mean it’s balanced, and when it’s this unbalanced, people don’t have fun. I chose to make it fun for myself, but I could tell one of my teammates wasn’t having a great time. That’s why we bring it up. Do you want to play a game you’re sure to lose?

And to top it off, it actually was nearly impossible for us to win.

Spoiler

You say we only had to get one conspirator recruited. Never gonna happen. How does a king recruit me with Chiharu and Cheese if they are saying I’m not on their team? It’s all or nothing, which is why I said conspirators MUST claim each other, because otherwise you don’t have the numbers. And if we need to claim each other, that means if one person messes up, our whole team is finished. Before I even started, I told Trashie we were screwed. That was our experience, knowing we were screwed but playing anyway.

Even if it wasn’t over, say by some miracle the king believed our team. If we tell king to choose between Satan, Haru, Lee, and myself, we lose anyway, because Haru’s the spy, and her mission was to get me recruited. We could only win by accident: by the king making some very nonsensical decisions.

We both have said we are not upset at the game, unbalanced games happen. What’s actually souring my experience is people acting like it’s not unbalanced. But this will be my last post about it, I won’t try to convince anybody who doesn’t want to be convinced anymore.

um, anyway, I'm late, but thanks for the game, Trashie~ I do think that there were things that could be improved upon, for example, in it's current state, I don't rlly think it's suitable as a long game. As for balance, I do think the way the game works is biased towards backers. Was it impossible for conspirators to win? No. Hard? Yes.

Anyway, that aside, I had fun~ And I hope everyone can remember that this is just a forum game done for gun and there's no point in getting sweaty over it (rather hypocritical coming from me, but).
