I know that's what they really want, but I believe they'd have a much better chance if they released more authentic stuff, the stuff that people fell in love with them for. Maybe management thinks the Grammys work like how Korean award shows work.

i heard that jin is already in his limit age so he should be enlisting either this year or at beginning of the next at most.

in my opinion it starts to look like HYBE wants that exemption and was expecting BTS to win a grammy so that they can use that in their favor

I do agree with people here saying that they are trying too hard and dont look authentic anymore.

it seems to me that BTS once had total control of their music when they was a hip hop group but once they become popular more and more they lost the control of what they wanna do. i doubt that all members when they signed with their company would want to do pop songs but now they are forced to do and now that they are really popular they still renew bc money speaks louder but i would love to know until when they will, until when someone says "i am sick of this and i wanna do hip hop again"

Now they are no much different of the others kpop groups but worse bc to win a grammy they only release english songs when they should be trying with a korean song (and if they fail and least they tried with their own culture and language)
As a kpop fans it's embarrassing and is nothing to be proud of it. for koreans and asians maybe it's different (they probably feel proud of them) but for people that loves the language and gives 0 f*cks about US and song in english it's just ridiculous

Why would they give up? Do you just give up trying when you fail a few times? Would you stop chasing your dreams? I may not like many of the things they do, but if there's one thing I love about them, it's that they don't give up. If they had given up so easily, they wouldn't even be where they are right now. I hope no one stops chasing their dreams because of other people's words like this.

I'll say it: BTS has more chances of winning an Oscar with a Korean song than a Grammy with an Engliish one.

 

The dance break was everything. It's nice seeing they get to have more control on their performance -I mean to camera work and props, etc. It felt like MAMA-ish performance

 

Anyways, I'm tired of this American quest. But if they want this award, they should keep on trying I guess. Hopefully they can network with other aritsts an move from this hurdle because their music is not it lately. Put back their old producers and you have a hit
