DONGKIZ announce brand new group name & member changes

DONGKIZ have announced their brand new group name and changes to their member lineup.

On March 18, Dongyo Entertainment revealed DONGKIZ will be undergoing a number of changes, including a group name change to DKZ. Wondae will also be leaving the group, which will have a new lineup with 3 new members. 

The label said, "Wondae took a break after an injury and had an in-depth discussion with us about his future activities. However, it's of the doctor's opinion that he'll need constant rehabilitation in the future. Wondae ultimately decided to withdraw from the team." Munik, who was on hiatus due to health issues, is not yet returning to the group as he's continuing to treat his condition.

As for the group as a whole, DONGKIZ will officially be known as DKZ starting with their comeback in April of 2022. Three new members, Kyoungyoon, Jaechan, and Jonghyeong, are also being added to the lineup. 

The news comes following Jaechan's appearance in 'Semantic Error'. Check out the new DKZ logo below!

isn't better to start as a new group?

I look back to Brave Girls and the current lineup is basically a new group, adding 5 new members in 2016 for just 2 originals felt like a revamp tbh

DKZ originally had 5 members. 
 

Wondae left which leaves 4 and they’re adding 3 new members so it’s not like really a comparison imo
