Those commenters are something else. Out of all the idols who don't have the qualifications to be an idol, Chaeyeon is one of the LAST ones that needs to be mentioned. She has proven herself time after time to be a star.

honestly not that surprising, WM was clearly planning to debut her in their ngg but once the RBW acquisition happened they let go of all their long-term female trainees, likely because RBW didn't want competition with Purple Kiss. And WM doesn't seem to have any other plans for her + they have a terrible history with promoting solo artists, I don't think she went to HYBE though.
