They seriously need to chill at some point, they're starting to get really annoying and they'll only end up having people turn on them

atinys are sounding unhinged online about these things, like omg chill, who gives a crap. All these K-Pop "storylines" are so vague there's bound to be overlap. Not like anybody out there plotting an actual novel. It's all the same vague "these X number of people are on a journey to Y fighting Z exploring new dimensions blah blah". And nobody outside the fandom knows anything about that anyways.

people were on their side with the MTG song (minus the unnecessary death threats towards Soyeon) but they're just asking for a high rank on "most problematic fandoms" with this crusade they're on.

People need to really understand what "plagiarism" means so they don't just throw around the term flippantly every time there's the least bit of similarity. 

Both Ateez and NMIXX (from the comparison tweet) are employing the "Journey to the new world" trope. Which are derivatives of many previous work with similar storytelling, for example: Journey to the West, One Piece, etc etc. 

This is NOT plagiarism.
