Brand New Music announces the name of their upcoming boy group; lineup will include Lee Eunsang and "LOUD" contestant Lim Kyeongmun

After previously announcing that the group was scheduled to debut sometime in the first half of 2022, Brand New Music has finally released the name of their upcoming boy group!

The group will be called YOUNITE (pronounced like “unite”), meaning “YOU and I: we are connected” according to their trailer.  The lineup will include former X1 member Lee Eunsang and former JYP Entertainment trainee and “LOUD” contestant Lim Kyeongmun.

Interestingly enough, it seems as though members of Brand New Music's previously debuted trio of Produce X 101 participants, BDC (Boys Da Capo), will not be included in YOUNITE.  You can catch another glimpse of the members here:

it's gonna suck for bdc though. their sales are... below average and despite them releasing great music, i don't see brand new music investing into them too much.

I'm most intrigued by the oldest one: the one who sings, raps, and is learning to play the guitar.  I like his vocal tone.  I loved Eunsang's solo debut EP but it seems he's more comfortable with being cute and sunny.  I like BDC as a trio but like everyone else am also worried about what resources BNM will allocate to them.
