Korean skincare & sunscreen recommendations

Shut Up And Take My Money

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone. I am trying to up my skincare routine because honestly I am not looking so hot  I've heard how great korean skincare products are and wanted any recommendations from any of you who have used them (I have oily skin + would prefer some anti aging stuff to go along with it).

In that same boat I also need a good sunscreen that won't just on top of my face (will actually absorb into my skin) and isn't so harsh that it causes a rash or breakouts.

All recommendations are highly appreciated

i'm currently on my third purchase of this sunscreen!

https://sokoglam.com/collections/sunscreen/products/papa-recipe-honey-moist-sun-essence-spf-50-pa

my skin isn't the most sensitive, but it does get pretty red with any product on. and i find that this formula works really well on my skin (combination to dry). it says it's suitable for all skin types, so i'm interested to see how it'll be on oily skin. no white cast or stickiness either. just really absorbent and hydrating.

honestly, i recommend that website for people who are beginning to get into korean skincare. they have a range of options and usually the sites that sell cheaper korean skincare aren't the most user-friendly, so it's a nice place to start.

Not a korean recommendation but more of a general tip: always prefer cosmetics from clean beauty brands especially for sunscreen and lipsticks be them korean or not.

These 2 tend to contain high percentages of heavy metals and toxins which will eventually have a cumulative negative effect on your cells. A lot of breakouts are nothing more than residual toxins and metals from these products causing reboot effects.

I have one or 2 brands I could recommend but they're local and I doubt we're from the same country so :x

Thanks for the tip! I actually never wear make up but I am seeing the damage my face has gotten from working out in the sun lately (Dark spots and wrinkles and all that). I honestly only wear sunscreen the like...5 times a year I go to the beach so I am trying to be better about that.

Could you let me know what those brands are that you mentioned? Maybe in the future they will offer international delivery (I am in the U.S btw)

Sure! It's always best to start your routine whenever you notice the first aging signs. Sunscreen + Moisturizing + Vitamin C is a great combo for starters.

My favorite brand is Care Natural Beauty but unfortunately they don't ship wwd. This site apparenty sells a lot of clean beauty products in USA from many different clean beauty brands. Maybe it's a good place to start your research?

You should really try 23 years old N.M.F. SPF 50+ and Blithe Honest Sunscreen 50+!

Didn’t tried first with a makeup, but a second one works great with my cushion. Also I have a combi skin and both of these works great. You just need to look at the ingredient list honestly. Because if your skin is like mine or dry - Bioré products won’t work for you cause they have alcohol in list. It also has an old type of chemistry spf ingredients that could cause an allergy reaction.
