My pc is kinda dying and I want to upgrade to a better pc on which i can smoothly run games.

I have a limited budget and I'd like to know, which one of the following builds look the best investment?

I would stick with an Intel CPU so I'm looking at number 2 and 3.

3 has the better video card, a 2060 is better than a 3050, 2 has a very slightly better CPU.

I would go with 3 but be sure to add more storage, you'll run out of space with just the 500G M.2 in there, add a SSD 1000 Go Samsung 870 QVO MZ-77Q1T0BW to the build unless you're pulling HDDs out of your old PC to put in there.

thanks for the feedbacks! I’ll take a deeper look this weekend and make my mind with all this info

This gonna be a long one but I'll share my thought anyway.

Spoiler

For CPU, Intel chipset would be stable enough but the flaw will be on the architecture and it tends to get more expensive in the market if compared to similar performance against AMD chipset. On architecture wise, Intel tends to make new chipset base which would result the need to buy new motherboard if you're upgrading chipset. Meanwhile, AMD has been using the same AM4 board for every Ryzen chipset they've released so you can upgrade anytime without the need to upgrade your motherboard. In your list, Intel i5 10400 will be equivalent to Ryzen 5 3600x performance wise.

Motherboard wise, I will make sure I have enough sockets to plug all my hard disks or SSDs, then other features like WiFi (I don't have cable access at places so this definitely convenient to me), LAN network, USBs, as well as Displays. Then only I decided on extra features offered by each model like BIOS, external CMOS, etc. As long as the motherboard has enough sockets and features you want to use choosing something along that line and maybe a lil bit extra here and there for convenience would be good enough.

For GPU, NVIDIA RTX 2060 is definitely better than newly released RTX 3050. But against AMD Radeon, RX 6600 would be in comparable to RTX 2060. This bit is pretty subjective. The last I get advice on this was that NVIDIA is more meant for gaming while Radeon is better for editing (granted that we're not comparing the workstation graphics card). I experienced both but I can't feel any significant different since my build is made for stability not overclocking performance.

Storage wise, I would go for Samsung EVO M.2 SSD for better OS and app performances. Other storage will be dump to my old hard disks that's usable. 500GB for SSD is sufficient but having 1TB would much more headroom for OS and apps caching.

Power supply wise, make sure you're getting at least 600W and at least bronze 80+ rated PSU. 500W will choke you down when you're upgrading for better chipset or GPU, and enough room if the voltage suddenly spike. The 80+ thingy gonna help you in terms of having more lifetime on PSU. And you can opt for full-modular series if you prefer to not having excess cables in your case.

And lastly, for casing, while we can just choose any looks possible, but for budget build, I would go for casing that will offer the most pre-installed fans and best possible airflows (which you can only imagine or check them out from YouTube content testing those casing's performances) + it use standard ATX power supply before anything else.
