Too early to tell. Chungha did so well on her early days. Not to mention Gotta Go is a national hit. But I'm so happy for Yena hopefully she keeps this up

tbf Smiley is a strong start like WDYK was, but if you want to keep the comparison Yena needs to deliver a bigger hit (Rollercoaster) for her follow-up

she's already a much better album seller anyway, thats whats gonna set the IOI and IZONE girls apart

She's really charming and I only learnt she was an izone girl after really liking Smiley and looking her up. Like all the threads asking about who's the next big thing - wait and see. Chungha had 2 really successful hit songs (Rollercoast and Gotta Go) so Yena has to achieve that to be comparable.

Her company has definitely done the best with promotion and it helps that she's good with variety and getting Bibi on the track was a big boost, but I agree with the others that it's too early to tell.

Her debut song Smiley is really good and refreshing compared to alot of what we've been hearing from Kpop lately imo. But it's still to early to tell whether she could keep it up with the next releases. Alot of post-Produce groups/solo acts did well at debut as there's hype but then they didn't do so hot afterwards. It's a matter of whether she could maintain and keep the momentum.

Yes..even tho its too early to tell but if she chooses songs that are with even more replay value like chungha she would be even more successful..

Surprised that glassy isnt doing that well since its a whole bop
