yeah like bts and exo haven't had a big gp hit for the past 2 years so they've been wringing their discographies dry to include them (meanwhile ignoring every svt song past their first 4 title tracks). I love love me right and early bts but why not give the third gen a break for a minute to appreciate the 4th gen + 2nd gen renaissance that's been happening? Would it kill them to give txt the bts spot or have dcm/atlantis by shinee instead of a 2015 exo song? And blackpink songs just don't translate to bigger groups in survival shows like 90% of the time. I'd rather see ebbs songs on the position evaluation where they can mix it up a bit at least.

the last two spots are once again open for rotating trainees depending on my mood

rewatched episode two, some further notes:

• kim jiwoong SEXY
• 143 trainees have a LOT to improve on...sorry, i know daeul has a lot of stans (as evidenced by his top 9 status atm) but the vocals AND dance are both lacking
• there are two k-group all stars (pre-re-evaluation) who got like...zero screentime?? maybe we should've shown THEM instead of replaying the hot and my house and dudes for 5 minutes??

My opinions on some trainees changed quite a bit after watching the 2nd episode so here's an update on my voting process rsrsrs

Keita - wasn't familiar with him but we decided to turn him into one of our fixed picks. He's skilled, speaks korean well, has a good personality... no cons

Takuto - i didn't want him in the lineup before but he put a spell on me and he's now THE filler dozen pick. He still isn't someone I'd like in the final group, but someone who I want to watch for entertainment purposes

Park Hanbin - he's charismatic, talented and i like his energy. Went from a filler pick to a fixed one *for the time being*. I might remove him later because of the upcoming abs reveal rsrsrs we find those reveals too cringy, you see

Jiwoong - we won't give him our filler votes anymore. For a debuted idol his skills are painfully mediocre. Dancing is borderline bad, vocals are meh, I'm overall not really charmed by him and it's not like he needs my votes anyway. Halo effect at its best me thinks

Woonggi - no longer a filler pick, solely because i feel sorry to whoever has to share a dorm with him

Lee Seunghwan - no longer a filler pick. I'm no longer interested, even though he looks like a decent performer. Simply not charmed by him

Hiroto - I didn't want him in the lineup before (idk why) but right now I'm open to it, not sure why either. Maybe I was unfair and expected him to be worse? Who knows when I don't. I'm not voting for him rn but I'm open to it in the future if he does well

Yujin - mnet trying to make him fill that sexualized minor role uh... it's worse when you compare his edit to Takuto, who's the same age. He's out of my filler picks because he doesn't need my vote and hmmm I don't like the direction things are going, let's put it that way

Ma Jingxiang - Out of my filler picks, we have another dozen to give our votes to

Seo Won - I'm not the biggest fan of his voice color but his attention performance was weirdly captivating. Might add him to my filler picks

With all if this said, this is who we have been voting for this week:

Zhang Hao, Sung Hanbin, Kim Taerae, Seok Matthew, Keita, Takuto, Park Hanbin, Park Gunwook, Kim Gyuvin  Only the first 5 I'd say are fixed atm

I didn't change my mind about the others with the 2nd episode. Centerz the main slayers, Taerae the main vocal, Gunwook the evil stable boy, Matthew the kind stable boy, Gyuvin the mid visual

Hope episode 3 shakes my lineup a bit wew
