She was the Suzy of SES

And she became actress post SES disband

So it's all about genders issue where hardcore fandom was exclusive from bg fans

2nd gen and 3rd gen changed that

there's a diff between hot holding a reunion concert in seoul olympic stadium vs ses holding a reunion fanmeet in an intimate hall tho

but i will say that ses has had multiple reunions before, so it's kind of an every five year ordeal thing for them, which isn't as special as compared to hot, where they haven't had a single activity together since 2001

SES are doing decent individually. Shoo basically helped them do better in Japan, and that paved the way for later soloists to focus on japan like Boa back in the day. After the others left yeah Shoo was hung out to dry. Bada was really good on variety and hard carried the singing but her lack of visuals meant she wasn't as popular. Her solo career was successful though, and she consistently had great performances, even great solo performances of SES songs. Bada was probably the most famous main vocal and I'm happy how she made herself have a successful career despite not being initially popular. 

Part of why HOT and not SES was because the boygroup/girlgroup fandom divide. SES consistently were better sellers than Fin KL and were the best gg of their era but HOT fangirls hated any girl associated with HOT, I remember they came for Hyori and Hyori fought back. Also destroyed Minyoun's career. SES were very careful with HOT interactions, especially Eugene. Bada could be brash as much as she wanted because...not many cared 

Also SES were known to be close so a reunion isn't that big of a deal. Now if Fin KL had a comeback reunion earlier I bet they could have pulled better numbers than SES because half the members hated each other.

the ses reuinion concert even looked better that way especially knowing how ppl get harmed at stadiums from crowd crush

A 1st gen thread on OH. That's great. 

Even Lee Sooman's selective memory seems to only remember H.O.T and then BoA. 

S.E.S and Shinhwa pretty much came out in '97 and '98 because of the money H.O.T was pulling in and when they disbanded in 2001, the company stocks fell. 

Ofc, S.E.S and Shinhwa are still remembered based on their remastered music videos.
