How come IVE didn't end up like post-IOI groups?

My guess is the rigging thing deeply hurt the group's reputation. A lot of people were tryna cancel them 

 

But at least IVE's debut is doing extremely well compared to post IOI group.  None of them exactly had a breakout career. This gives me hope for other post IZ*ONE groups.
