How come IVE didn't end up like post-IOI groups?

Also IzOne's fandom is way bigger than IOI sure, but none of their songs were digitally as big as Very Very Very or Downpour.

That's what I was about to say, wasn't IOI stronger digitally than IZ*ONE and more liked by the gp?

Honestly, I strongly doubt they will end like Pristin, their case was a very particular and rare case caused by their own agency, ofc anything can happen, but as far as I know, Starship doesn't have that kind of history with their groups.

i wouldn't say they don't have much competition, tbh. like yeah, they aren't facing major groups, but they are facing show me the money songs, which have had a chokehold on korean charts since its debut as a show, lol. and this season in particular seems to be very popular.

the fact that they're charting alongside iu, davichi, show me the money, and all these christmas songs rising, they definitely are in the general public's interest right now. even more so with so many of their clips going viral on youtube.

I think we should also thank the cameraman for his bad camerawork lol, this clip already has 2 millions views

staring off iz*one had way more fandom impact than ioi, for sure.

the main thing is that ive doesn’t feel like they have filler members, not as in every member is extremely and shockingly talented but more in a way that tou see them and they fit together perfectly - you cannot tell me it felt the same way with pristin or gugudan where there were way too many members and too little work. their debut show is actually a great way to build a loyal fandom too.

the song is also crazy catchy, especially the hypnotic tone of wonyoung and liz’ lines.

i feel like all post-izone groups are going to do better than most post-produce groups (yuri and eunbi already have amazing sales for soloists, chaewon and sakura pretty much have guaranteed a level of success if they do debut with source, hyewon’s activities still bring enough attention and talk, minju could really have a decent acting career from what we’ve seen from her + the fact she’s actually very passionate about it, hitomi and nako have done much better in their groups to the point of being almost centers or whatever their terminology for positions are. honestly the only one i see kinda dropping a little down is yena, not for the sponsor scandal but because she’s always been on the lower popularity side post-produce)

huh? But Yena is doing just fine in her variety shows tho, she's been working nonstop and has plans to debut solo next year. This video more or less explains her position right now. (starting from 6:00)
