I'm childfree. Will there be a happily ever after?

Hello, what are your thoughts on this? Currently, am worried about what happens during old age, loneliness, fear of missing out, not being able to leave behind a part of myself in the world.

But still, am very very very very very childfree. I just want to know I could still have a happily ever after being childfree.

even if you have kids you may still be lonely, who knows what will happen. the most important thing to do is to be involved with a community that you can give back to and find happiness in. children provide happiness to lots of people, but they’re not the only way to be happy by any means.

I’m married and we are a childfree couple. And I’d rather regret not having kids than regret having them.

Happiness is what you make off of it. There is so much more to life than being a parent.

Stay true to who you are and make choices that would make YOU - not society or other people - happy.

Like others above me have stated, a happily ever after looks different to everyone. If you don't want children then that's great, and if you really change your mind down the line you can always adopt. Life is long and no one wants the same as another person or forever. You can make the most out of what you have and what you want and you can always change your mind.

Well I'm childfree too, i'm happy now, but i know for a fact that i want a child one day.

I kind of understand where your are coming from, i fear one day when i really want one i won't be able to have one..but anyways, i try not to overthink or stress over the unknown, I  live the moment and leave what time will unfold for me for later..because worrying is useless, do what makes you happy!
