anyways it's literally dumb to be fighting over this when jennie was the first one getting attacked. Truth is what is and honestly the point here is not what V has to do or not but how Army has been acting towards the issue. What's the problem, why him following Jennie has triggered such a ugly reaction? It's not criticism on V but on the fandom itself. But also, why Armys act like that? Shouldn't we track back to how the BTS members and bighit/hybe have been treating their fans and the extreme "delusionism" that has been happening (like not only members x fans but also members x members)? I think it's about time for some self criticism at this point.

i don't know if yall are familiar with Instagram kpop fans, but they are ALWAYS terrible. they are seriously the MOST unhinged stans on the internet. not just ARMYs, it happens across the board. sure BTS could say something, but your faves' instagram fans are the exact same way.

You made good points but you can't blame the members for this kind of behavior. Even if they said something, obsessed stans are now too far gone to listen to their scoldings. Hybe is the one at fault here (just like how SM is the one at fault for their groups' sasaeng disasters and not the SM idols themselves) for creating and encouraging this level of delusion around them. It's really noteworthy that, while being an eight year old group, none of the BTS members had any confirmed relationship for example and no one can convince me that it's not because Hybe wants to keep the lucrative narrative of the "seven pure single boys who only live for each other and their fans" for as long as they can.

This ain't V's fault or Jennie's fault. This is strictly all on Armies and their delusional possessiveness of BTS' members. Even though BTS members can do stupid things from time to time, I don't dislike them. It's their fans that make me not want to associate myself with anything they come out with. If I ever say anything negative of BTS, 90% of the time it's about their fans.

Sure but BTS members also play a lot with the "I live only for my fans and have eyes for them only"... so I'm not surprised that naive/insecure people fall for it and become (way too) obsessed

But this issue is so stupid...I can believe that Tae followed Jennie on accident, and that doesn't matter. Him following her isn't a big deal, whether on purpose or not. It's funny because the crazy fans are acting like they are dating or something when Jennie has a boyfriend and Taehyung is probably dating someone else right now. Fans act like they own their idols and it's so disturbing. These fans need to take several steps back and seek some help.
