let's not pretend they don't bc many groups/idols have been criticized by their vocals too

Usually its dance oriented groups whose performance is on the point otherwise though. Wouldn't say these girls danced well either or put in some extra energy or something which would make them stand out from normal middle school kids doing covers.

But kudos to Soyeon to actually say truth to them like this. Hopwfully they will take it to heart and work much harder on their future performances if they really wish to pursue this career.

This Rookie team wasn't bad at all. They sound nice but not harmonized & unattractive vocal colour + the high note was bad.

Lets be honest here overall the cover was really bad and kinda shocking back then. 😄 But I guess time brought a lot of bad performances which toned it down. Like this one.
