Would Little Mix still have worked if it wasn't Jesy Nelson who left?

Ever since becoming a trio, Little Mix had been doing nothing but kill it and impress with their superior talents and discography. Since Jesy left, Little Mix released their first single as a trio, Confetti ft. Saweetie, and since then has dropped their greatest hits album Between Us. I've thought about this a couple of times already, but what if it wasn't Jesy Nelson who left?

Perrie is Little Mix's vocal powerhouse and she's mostly in charge of high notes and the stronger parts. Pez is literally irreplaceable and her parts would be very difficult to cover even if it's her talented bandmates but Leigh-Anne is next in line when it comes to belting and while she cannot probably do it as flawlessly as Perrie, she's still a capable vocalist on her own. Not to mention Jade too.

Just like how Leigh-Anne would take cover for Perrie's role, Perrie will be nothing short of magnificent when it comes to belting but her tone is vastly different from Leigh's. I suck at explaining but Perrie's voice is robust whereas Leigh-Anne's voice is crisp. Jade and Jesy may be able to cover her as well.

I honestly cannot picture Little Mix without Jade. Everyone in Little Mix have such strong presences that she's the one who tranquilizes the group and balances everything out. Jade sings like 50% of Little Mix songs and is the group's prime songwriter/composer. People would usually think she has the least presence in Little Mix but without her, a significant space will be empty. Seeing Little Mix perform without her just seems... off. I love Sweet Melody but its debut performance (attached above) was a very underwhelming one.

What do you think? Will Little Mix still would've worked had it not been Jesy who left? If yes, which member?

I've heard that even when they were a group leigh anne confronted jesy about blackfishing so despite jesy I believe mentally had to go due to (online) bullying, I bet she didn't gel as well with those 3.they are Def superior trio of any combo. I don't mean to talk sht. These girls close for years and I've heard inkling of recent dramas. I don't keep up if they make up or jesy has learned to stop blackfishing etc. But I agree, I cannot imagine lm without jade. If they all go solo, she would interest me the most, but the other 2 are super talented as well. Jesy too, but I haven't heard her song yet, and prolly wouldn't like it, based on snippet I've heard. That and just I don't think they were on best terms considered I don't think she listened ig when she was confronted about her controversy by the members  before she left

i do think they would have managed regardless of who would've left, maybe it wouldn't be ''as good'' as the trio today but it would've worked. they're just that talented.

pretty much this

they're well organized, focused and talented, even Jesy was until she wasn't anymore

I haven't been a huge Mixer since Glory Days era but I will say Jesy's voice added a lot of personality to the group, the song Touch in particular should have used more of Jesy's voice in it.

But yeah, any good artist knows how to adapt and grew, Little Mix would be no different.

Honestly losing Jesy, or Leigh Anne for that matter, is probably a bit easier to recover from than losing Perrie or Jade, but still, the girls would find a way to move forward.

i know people dislike jesy but shes honestly a huge loss to the group no matter what, she had my favorite voice and was overall a great singer and performer
