4. [+516] You better pay up the 1.1 billion won before you leave ㅋㅋㅋㅋ you messed with the wrong guy ㅋㅋ

5. [+192] Looks like Greg just wanted some attention

6. [+147] Who is this guy anyway...;

7. [+135] So why would you go and mess with someone like this and mess yourself up in the process

8. [+120] And what about the 1.1 billion won you promised? ㅋㅋㅋ

9. [+55] What about the million dollars~~~

10. [+36] Aigoo... of all the people to mess with, you chose someone who is such a hard worker, who truly takes care of themselves, who is so popular~~~ cough up that 1.1 billion won, man~~~

i'm not siding with greg, i've known him for a while and he's always been an idiot, but kim jong guk should've left it alone. i get it's frustrating when you see false accusations being thrown against you, but if he wanted to get this over with peacefully he could've

a) ignored greg's video: no one in korea knows who greg doucette is, so the video didn't really impact his image in korea. as for his international reputation, doucette isn't relevant enough to have a significant impact on people's opinion of kim jong guk either. most people who watch his youtube channel have no idea who kim jong guk is and probably would've watched the video once then forgotten about it

b) dealt with it quietly: could've gotten a lawyer and threatened with a lawsuit without the public altercation

so in my personal opinion, neither side dealt with this the way they should've.

I feel like KJK saw this and the door to gossip and assumption that could open and he decided to shut down this accusation but to get ahead of all possible future ones as well by getting all those tests done. It feels very pre-emptive, which is good because we all know how the internet likes to talk.

I don't think he could afford not to, not the way drugs (as in medicinal and otherwise) are seen in S.Korea; the news eventually spread over there, whether he is relevant or not, and might have eventually gotten out of hand. He called this Greg's dude's bluff, mainly to keep his clean image, and then followed with a threat of suing if he kept up with the shit. Nipping it in the bud before it became something more.

THIS^

Alsooo steroids or enhancements (?) are really common in SK so the probably KJG is on something is really high. Even idols use some of them, they are specially suspicious when they get muscular in 2 months lol. If he didn't sue now his whole image of "healthy and diligent"would have tarnish, he would probably have to retire from the industry and even go to jail.

Korean media blew up the story before Jongkook even reacted so how was he supposed to ignore it exactly when the accusations were already trending on multiple media sources plus pann etc?
