Is this correct? (English grammar)

A: yes, he fell out of love with you—doesn’t mean he falls in love with me as much as he did with you.

B: oh.

-A is the new girlfriend of B’s ex boyfriend.

-The reason B and the ex-bf split was that the ex-bf said he fell out of love with B.

-But now, this ex-bf doesn’t love A as much as he loved B back then.

 

lol sorry if it’s confusing, do you think the sentence is right?

Or if you wanna skip the "---" you can say "Yes, he fell out of love with you, but that doesn't mean he fell in love with me as much as he did with you."
