How are you supposed to support them with any racism they might encounter? yeah i've seen this firsthand. my home country is predominantly white and there's white couples who will adopt poc children, who later on have a really hard time dealing with identity issues around their race, teasing from people at school and in public in general etc.. it really is stressful for the child. i don't doubt a parent can love their child no matter the race of either party but you know.. it's an unfortunate situation. you kinda put your child in a position where they have no one who understands their struggles and can offer them support in a way that actually sticks i guess Edited November 13, 2021 by peach0827 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
