but that doesn't reflect the quality...

didn't say it did.. just that it doesn't make sense to insinuate that armys are jealous of them, especially since they aren't a competition for bts. maybe you could argue that if it were blackpink or exo, not golden child

Jangjun has stated many times that he is a huge fan of Taehyung and he watches V's fancams a lot to learn from him. This isn't the first time an idol has cited Taehyung as their role model. Eventhough his imitation of Tae's signature chewing gum gesture was bad, it was honestly harmless.

None of taehyung's fans were offended but dumb armys who don't even care about him were mad just for the sake of dragging the other idols. They also spread the narrative that jangjun is mocking Tae on National TV and making fun of him when Tae fans corrected them countless times that he is a fan and was only imitating his gestures that he learned. Army fandom is really a sh*t show and only want to create unnecessary drama out of nothing. The sheep mentality and toxicity of armys is on another level and most of the accounts sending jangjun hate don't even like taehyung or had tweeted anything about him for months but were at the forefront when it came to spreading misinfo and invite hate. Truly pathetic.

I think it's something other solo fans are trying to create. As a tae fan, I don't think there is a problem. Tae also imitated others before that, and now others are imitating him. That's what it means to be famous.

Yes I know. I'm so tired of these solo stans trying to bring other members down. The "mocking V on National TV" narrative was spread to degrade Taehyung and the hate also directed to jangjun unnecessarily by new sheep armys who believe every single word spread by armys. The army fandom as OT7 can't digest the fact that Taehyung out of everyone in BTS is considered as a role model by "idols/rookies" the most and tae gets mentioned on Korean shows almost every week these days by different celebs which indicates his popularity there but his antis tried to give this a negative narrative to portray that he is the laughing stock in Korea.

Even me and my friends were dragged by armys when we tried to correct them and told them to stop spreading hate.

I follow many Taehyung focused fan groups and not a single one of them has reacted to it, on the contrary they all underlined that he is actually a idol who admires Tae. It's just another bullshit that solo stans do to harm each other's idols reputation.
