1. No, he should act with his real voice.. His real voice is so good

2. I thought Cha Eunwoo was perfect except for his voice, but if it’s his real voice, he’s seriously perfect.. Go back to your real voice, please ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

3. Wow I really like his real voice

4. His real voice is much better for an actor, right???

5. Hey what is his real voice? Every time I watch his acting, I think his voice is a bit bad, but please use your real voice, it’s much better…

6. I came to hear his real voice again… How could he not act with this voice?

7. Cha Eunwoo is Cha Eunwoo… Even his voice is handsome

8. He’s handsome and his voice is handsome too, how can someone be so perfect?

9. Wow, seriously, his deep voice suits him so much better, I thought Cha Eunwoo’s acting was weird because of his voice

10. I don’t know, I can’t hear his voice because he’s so handsome

omg i've watched all his dramas and never heard him speak like that. idk what the point of him hiding his real voice is, it's so attractive

I don't get it

are they saying his "real" voice is deeper or something?

isn't it normal for voices to get higher/deeper at certain times?? I don't think he's faking it

They are saying his real voice is deeper. Kind of how Hollywood actors change their tone of their voice depending on the roles they play.  Heck not just Hollywood actors any type of actor anywhere change their voices to suit a role if they can. I am guessing they want him to sound higher pitched than usual so his agency or whoever told him to change his pitch. I do hear a difference but I am unsure since I am not a Cha Eun Woo fan so idk how he sounds in general.

i think they're saying he changes his voice pitch when he's singing/acting. tbh i never thought about people faking their voices until the conversation about blackpink rosé making her voice higher on purpose started (which i do kinda buy). but it wouldn't make a lot of sense for a male idol to make his voice higher so idk.

a lot of entertainers, specifically male ones in asian entertainment, tend to raise their voice a pitch or higher when they're "performing" and it's pretty obvious for eunwoo since he's an idol, where they're expected to be bright and energetic and they should reflect that with their voice. it's kind of like how most of us have a presenter mode in our voice. i know for me, when i speak in public, my voice tends to go higher to sound friendlier and more approachable.

Same here, when I'm in public my voice is super friendly and sometimes I sound much younger than I am. It's normal to have a different voice and the one you actually use casually in your everyday life. People usually say their first impression of me is that I'm kind and approachable because of it.

I feel like I can somehow relate to this when I speak in public, my voice becomes higher than my real voice to make myself more friendly and approachable. Also I do have this insecurity esp when I was younger that if I showed my real voice which sounds deeper I'm afraid I would be mistaken as a male or people would make fun of me for having deep almost male-like voice (although it isn't actually the case that I don't actually sound like a man but it's just my feeling/anxiety)
