I knew Koreans are very superficial when it comes to looks and appearances, so Knetz/Kfans' responses don't really surprise me. They'd drop the idols like a hot potato when they got older, aged in looks and/or changed in visuals, thinking those are bigger deal than scandals and controversies. I wouldn't be surprised if they're the same ones that'd be delulu and defensive when their idols got  caught in scandals or controversies. Koreans are some of the most superficial nations in the world, they actually don't care that much about talent or personality like they claimed to be. That's why most of the time visuals tend to be the most popular ones and high rankings and most people who blew up, became viral and overnight sensation are the ones who fit Korea's beauty standards especially and suddenly they get cfs, endorsement deals, modelling contracts, etc. And then once their visuals decline, they're not being hyped or talked about as much anymore. Koreans basically worship people who are good-looking in their eyes.
