the xenophobia here  so many non-korean kpop fans also drop their faves when the visuals don't hit like they used to. if you don't offer much else, what could you expect?

Obviously. That’s the point I was making, that and people are acting like only Korean people do this and it’s weird. They’re just self aware in a way that many ifans are not. The funny thing is, instead of ifans leaving because their fave looks different, they just get bored with their fave’s face and find a newer face to be obsessed with. 
 

Plus, it’s not really THAT stupid of a reason, because visuals is what kpop groups are selling nowadays. Talent is less important, music is less important, personality is less important, and visuals are the top focus. So if you’re selling visuals, and folks are buying, you’ve gotta maintain the look.
