Appreciation thread for my favorite non-kpop group

YES, this is shameless attempt to promote them.

They are called The Warning, they're a rock group formed by three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. They are currently signed with Lava Records and this is their latest music video which was released a few minutes ago.

The interesting thing about this band is that they became viral 7 years ago for their Enter Sandman cover. They were age 9, 12 and 14 at that time. They grabbed so much attention that were even invited to the Ellen DeGeneres show and got congratulated by Metallica itself. They were also one of the artists featured in The Metallica Blacklist this year.

All three of them are insanely talented. The drummer, Paulina (19 y/o), is notorious for playing the drums while singing at the same time, which is rare in the music scene, especially at such young age, while maintaining a powerful technique and histrionic presence, she's also their main composer.

Alejandra, the bassist (16 y/o), was already playing one of the hardest Muse songs at age 9 as seen in this video.

And Dany (21 y/o) is their guitarrist, main singer and probably one of the most powerful frontwoman in the rock scene. Many people say she remind them of Lzzy Hale.

Spoiler

- Fun fact, I discover them in 2014 when the Enter Sandman video became viral, and even subscribed to their channel. I would usually see them uploading videos quite frequently, but never bothered to click on them until a year ago when I re-discovered them. I thought they were just another cover group, but I was wrong. They started composing and releasing their own original songs at a really young age too, and I was surprised to find out they were all quite good, dark and powerful. They have two studio albums and one EP.

- Another fun fact, the three of them are huge kpop fans, they have said before they are fans of groups like Itzy, Red Velvet, NCT 127, Monsta X and Loona. I even remember the bassist once said her mullet-esque haircut was inspired by kpop idols lol.

So yeah, if there's any rock or metal fan out there, I hope you give them a listen, you won't regret it.
