I can't even bring myself to listen to it again. I hate the " Like a sticka, sticka, sticka..." part, as well as the repetitive  recorder sound bc it reminds me when I was in middle school and my younger brother who was in primary school has just learned to play few notes with the recorder at school and then he went back home and practiced that same notes/parts over and over during the weekend. It was so annoying because I was trying to focus on finishing my homework and studying for a test.

For me it the instrumental...I feel like they added way too much and it ended being too edgy, that many producers must be a big factor of that effect

Sigh... I feel bad for the vocal line, who are clearly killing it,  because the production has so much going on that it drowns their voices.

I adore NCT #127 but their last three title tracks have been complete misses for me production wise especially 'Punch'. 

I really do hope SM drops this "edgy experimental" sound they've been obsessed with for title tracks because their catchier unique productions is what made them iconic among the public.

not as bad as some of their other stuff, but not good either . "kick it" is still in my top 5 worst k-pop songs of all time

i actually enjoy it after like 3 listens, even more than Punch. It took me months to like the song. i do get why people want Lemonade to be the title track instead. It's catchier and way easier on the ears but you know how SM loves to make experimental music as title track lol

What are they going for? Cus I am not getting experimental I am just getting disappointing. I liked NCT but they have been going downhill lately. I listen to a lot of abrasive loud music that does what I think they might be going for but they are not doing it.

This may honestly be my least favorite kpop song. Wolf or Rocket Girl were odd in an endearing way...idk what this is.

I didn’t like Sticker either, but some of y’all are crazy in this thread for disliking Punch and Kick It. Both of those songs are amazing

NCT has always had "noisy" and experimental songs but at least a lot of them were catchy and memorable. This one is not memorable and the flute sound is just annoying.

I'm not much for experimental songs but I was oddly obsessed with punch when it was released, one of my fav nct songs

I do miss the times when SM would just release catchy, well produced title track

i didn't listen the NCT song yet but by what everyone is saying are knetz still stuck in 2012 era or what?! 

suju dont release music like that anymore. if they said that it sounds like a super junior old song maybe i would agree but generalizing suju songs when knetz never bother to listen suju anymore it is a big no. suju is not stuck in one music genre (at least in in terms of title track) anymore

I always see some people saying that X NCT song remind them of suju song/could be a suju discarded song and i don't agree (and that shows that people have a really vague image of suju music). if they sounded i would had more chances to like their songs but i don't tend to like them except some of the NCT Dream. the only ones that i like from the other sub units are touch, switch, highway to heaven, manic, dream in a dream (well that is a Ten solo)

i find many of NCT songs (at least the ones they promote) too focused on rap and too noisy (like the nowadays western pop music. in fact in recent years, a lot of kpop songs are like this bc they are trying to hit big on U.S).

I actually like everything apart from the prechorus and weird ass 2nd bridge or whatever it is- i guess they were trying to change up the beat drastically like next level or other sm mashup songs but it didn't work for me..

hey at least they're hawt and the mv has a cool concept

This is why I could never get into nct. their songs are always misses for me and don't fit my preference. I'm sure they're great guys with talent but sm keep giving them songs that's just too noisy, convoluted and experimental for my taste.

Honestly I didn't find any appeal regarding nct music... Like firetruck is not my cup of coffee but I really enjoyed limitless as a song. Anyway, I've been away from K-pop and this year I was instantly hooked by kick it (I probably listened to it July this year and from them I started getting into their variety content and music - which I find surprisingly good and to my taste)... that's why maybe I was expecting sth bombastic like limitless/kick it/superhuman/regular/simon says/any other tittle track sans firetruck...but we got this

Not gonna lie, the instrumental sounds messy and noisy af. Still like the guys, tho. I mean, sometimes this happened to me with f(x) and SHINee songs, too. I really dislike SM giving their artists convoluted songs and I'm not the type of fan who would eat whatever they put on the table, just because I came to like these guys. 

All that said, I really like the choreo and fashion and ofc the variety content they're bringing with this comeback  so thanks for that, I guess.

I love the concept and the outfits and it clear that they put a lot of effort into it. I just can't shake the feeling that they were trying so hard to do something different that they forgot to make it actually good.
