As a person with depression, the way April members (and everyone supporting their backs) dealt with it made me disgusted af. They shown a lack of empathy, called Hyunjoo weak and blamed her like if it is her fault that she have depression and she wanted to use it to avoid training. not even AOA members did that and they had reasons to do it especially after Mina was catched relaxing in the pool and spa while the members work their ass off rechoreograph the performances

So even it will be proven that Hyunjoo lied and is not a victim as she claims, that will not make April members less guilty in my eyes. i will never listen April songs again

but i really hope that some bullying accusations are true bc if all of them start to get proven fake, people will stop believing the real future victims or worse real victims will shut up bc they will be too afraid to come out and expose their aggressors 

April members sans Rachel and Chaekyung (who were not in the group when Hyunjoo was a member), right?

Which is fucked, BTW. It's tricky in these public accusations where some ppl lies so some hesitate 'to hear both sides' or even worse, wait on court decisions. Justice system is fucked. I highly doubt hyunjoo lying, for starters it was her friend and brother who brought it to light and I think those cases were thrown out by Judge on sumn? And at the time April was supposedly bullying her she tried to commit suicide? It's really messed up, how many ppl are bullied, I have been too, but not all to the same extent, and even more so, not everyone has the mental strength to deal with it. I do not hold things against ppl and want their career ruined, etc. I have been bullied to my mental limit at my job a few years ago and I never reported ppl, I just change my schedule to the other shift and avoid them when our sched overlap. I just want to be left alone not cause public issues, but fgs it can cause irreparable mental damage so I wouldn't fight ppl who've been bullied to their limit, not be quiet about it. But I don't see hyunjoo as some vindictive person with victim complex, I think she opened up to her loved ones and they couldn't keep quiet. And it's difficult to talk about these sorta thing involving accusation between celebrities, not knowing truth there's so much grey area. But as someone who struggled with mental health my whole life, I can get the pain these ppl may feel. So it's difficult to be neutral and not believe victim. It is esp shitty to me that not only dsp but April members are suing her, and could succeed bc of how backwards (imo) sk law is. And then them/their supporters would say they're innocent just cuz that. When most damage done to their careers would of not been there if they just apologized to hyunjoo day 1 instead of denying and trying to sue, in multiple directions, the acusser. It's trying to save face but it just drags on the issue so fking long that only makes them seen worse. Similar to soojin in that way cuz other "bullies" are on hiatus and then come back, albeit some ppl will remember and hate them, but most will forget and stans will forgive. Even if it isn't yk tormenting bullying, there's some mistreatment I'm sure, worth an apology. I have complicated opinion on these things ig... Ppl don't need their career ruined on childish past things they've Grown up from, but the mess April members, their families, and dsp had done in just idiotic ways og trying to just silence hyunjoo they've done it to themselves. 

The problem with me about this kinds of topics is that we've seen that usually ppl relate with the victims cause most of us can see ourselfs in it, and this has happened many many times already T-ara, stray kidz woojin, April, Lucas, AOA mina, what makes me feel that i should not take sides even yet is how hard the april members are saying they didnt do it, when their careers are already ruined, when the general opinion hates them.

They are fighting so hard for what? they careers are not going to go back to them, even if everything turns out to be a lie, do you think people would care? did people cared about T-ara again? Woojin? AOA? (when they were literally the victims.) 

They have nothing to gain by this but their dignity, and believe it or not a judge may have a better understanding of all of this than us mere viewers. After al which side we pick is how we feel.

School bullying is a hard topic cause when you are a kid you are childish and everything you do is to based on how society is, I blame this more to the institutions than to the kids themselves.

Hello i dont go around wanting retribution for the people who bullied me before and wanting their careers to be over, at most I would only want for the institution to reform their norms so they could control this things better.

Neither did Hyunjoo? DSP sued her 15 year old brother first before she even left the company. She literally said in one of her statements that they were all young, that she believes people can change and that she's made mistakes too and than Chaewon went off saying how she had never done anything wrong ever. Hyunjoo literally gave them a lifeline to take the repent and reflect route and they said no. They are the ones who haven't got over their middle school hatred of her.

i should’ve worded it better - every CORE member. both chaekyung and rachel have been excluded in general from all of this since the issue broke out  chaekyung’s activities haven’t been stopped unlike the core members and rachel has had a little surge of popularity in the youtube community as well as been used as “proof” against some of the members because there’s a compilation of videos of them ganging up against her as well (making fun of her lisp and her korean skills, speaking over her when it’s her time to talk)

knetz are aware that these two had nothing to do with hyunjoo’s situation. 

to the person talking about retribution, hyunjoo’s brother was the one to bring this up and we have no way of knowing if it was something that she wanted or not. in a way, it was wrong of him if she didn’t want to reveal it but it’s done.

Even though Chaekyung and Rachel and are 100% innocent, and may still be doing some activities, they have been impacted negatively. They are not getting the group activities or promotions, which help them professionally, money and career-wise. Usually what happens when a group promotes a new song, not only the group, but individuals in the group will also get additional activities/CFs.

My gut feel is that Hyunjoo perceived everything happening to her as bullying, however 99.99% of people who do not have extreme sensitivity would just perceive things as normal things happening. It is like that, and I understand more than most would.

Why DSP is not releasing her from her contract? We have seen recent "controveries" and they have been let from their groups and companies really fast, but not here?

Is it because they can shush her under contract if everything is true or what? That thing is so weird for me. If this girl is lying = damaging one of your few groups, why let her stay with you?

yes, i am excluding the 2 members that are not involved in this mess. i don't know if they are still in April but i hope they get out (bc the group is doomed) and find success or in other group or a duo or as solo artists or whatever they wanna do.

but now i am also remembering of Somin (former April member and now a KARD member). Almost no one remember to talk about her. even i forget that she exist.

she’s definitely been smarter than the rest, she only referred to the issue in a very puzzling instagram story (that i quoted in another post) actually back in their early days people were believing that the younger members were purposely leaving somin out during april’s little youtube show because of how little she was present during some episodes but she was never too close to the other girls really except for maybe chaewon who was the second oldest, the group’s concept also visibly bothered her very much. i think it’s not far-fetched to say that she could’ve started it, since she was the oldest and the leader, the younger girls could’ve assumed that it was fine to do it too.

i think hyunjoo get cf and produce number of youtube video after the bully allegation. She's okay and she need to expect this to happen.

basically, she get blamed cause she is weak during practice which is deem as bully. while the other member are excited to debut and feel unease with her.

then she MIA from the group. the excited member try their best to carry the group name while she's MIA.

when one of the group member start to cash, hyunjoo show up and say her ex member bully her. while she is MIA and weak, while other member try so hard to make their name.

it's world balance guys. but seeing her getting that CF and making youtube video, indeed she play her card well. april member start to pull their counter cards too.

 

ps: since many big bully issue were debunk in past, I'm really reluctant to choose side.
