 Article: [Loud] Final debut groups for JYP and P Nation

Source: Idol Issue via Instagram

1. [+495] I mean... 13 years old...... what in the world...

2. [+374] Wait, a 13 year old...?

3. [+305] If he's 13... he's a choding... I can't believe idols are that young now...

4. [+236] Wow, Goki's debuting in the end after all... He's good but he's so young, I don't know if being an idol will be too hard for him. I'm actually concerned.

5. [+169] From my experience, male idols should not debut with JYP ㅠ

6. [+53] I was so worried about the '09er but he's actually debuting after all... I hope the hyungs aren't too intimidating to him...

7. [+23] As an overall group, the other members are a full head taller than him, how will this work out...;

8. [+9] What I'm more worried about than the intimidation is the embarrassment the other members might feel having such a young member on the team. Their heights look imbalanced, other groups are closer in age whereas they will have a 10 year age gap. Imagine having to complete your work schedules with a baby all the time... and obviously since he's a baby, you have to look out for him. Then any TV show they go on will focus on the 13 year old because he's so young...

9. [+9] '09er, that's too young

They better provide counseling for his health and mental well being. They are also responsible for consistent education. No back and forth between in person and virtual education. Not with the way education is prioritized in Korea. They want to debut him so they need to be 100% responsible for his well-being, growth, and education. If they can’t even provide the basics for that then there is no need to rob his childhood like that.

Also IMO he’s too young for a debut. There is only so much a young child like that can handle.

The thing is that many groups have a 9-10 y/o year gap between the oldest and the youngest member too (ie: produce groups like Wanna One, Iz*one, X1 etc) but at last the youngest members were in their mid teens already. In this case, it's a literal child that hasn't even started his teen years yet and looks like he hasn't hit puberty either. I know he's talented and has experience in dancing despite his young age, but the idol life is already gruelling for older teens and adults, so imagine for a child.

Basically this. They (the company) have to be 100% responsible of him now and become like his legal guardians, I guess? because his parents are in another country.

Visually it doesn't match at all, but more than just visually, I feel bad for the others  they are stuck we a child, I won't believe for even 1 second that any of them want to debut with him, and their concept doesn't look like chewing gum or something, it look like typical cool boy group but with a child looking like a 10 years old... Nope

And no matter what ppl say a 12  years old isn't ready for this kind of live, even if all the others accommodate to his needs ( and that wouldn't be fair either)

This is just disturbing and ridiculous

tbf I don't think the outfits represent their final concept it's a survival show so I think they were just covering a different bg there

But the thing is that they just don't match at all, he's too young to anything else than bubble and bright, just looking at the pictures of everyone together and it looks like a joke, I feel bad for the others and I don't even know them, and bad for him because his mental health is going to crash like 95% of child celebrities, I honestly don't know what is ppl thinking, I mean, obviously money but still... That poor child and other members
