The "joke" is that the Islamic calendar is different, the Gregorian calendar and it don’t match up exactly as the Islamic calendar relies on the moon. The lunar month moves forward by about 10 to 11 days each year. So one day Ramadan will fall both in January and again in December. So this comedian is making a joke that Ramadan will fall on the same day as Christmas, but in a ruder way which I found kinda strange. I 100% doubt the girls know such an obscure fact. Also why?

I had the honor of sitting into a wonderful talk by a guest lecturer talking about calendars of the past, that's how I know. No way a regular person would understand this, especially since who talks about lunar calendars? Even my close friends who were history/political science majors that called me to the lecture had no clue

Learned this via self research especially the switch into utilizing the gregorian calendar. So yes unless you are actually looking for this stuff its highly unlikely for people to just know this

How can one makes jokes from that? We have some Eid near Christmas and new year so of course it's Ramadhan during Christmas. I don't understand ksgfjsg
