Wasn't IZ*ONE supposed to be the last group made through shows as such? They just changed the facking name. IZ*ONE are still warm, only Queen Eunbi debuted so far. Are they gonna be temporary group too?

the judges are boring and full of shit (the whole "you made a mistake then all the girls looked confused and it was messy" or wtv when the girls looked perfectly fine and the mistake didnt change anything to the perf lol)

but the messy performances (girls that cant sing or are crying mid perf) are happening tomorrow so ig you should check it out

 

also to be honest : im watching most of the episodes on x2 cause i cbf to watch this for +2h lol i do watch the perfs beforehand on youtube though

They follow pretty much the same formula as Produce, literally just a name change with some tweaks like the cell vote. So if you're into that, you'll like it I guess. Basically I'm following for a few trainees (CLC Yujin, Cherry Bullet & Fanatics members, YWY2 survival show members, Momoko Okazaki), but I learned my lesson from Produce and not to get too attached to trainees and be a casual observer or it will make my blood boil with the results and obvious rigging.

It's basically produce 2.0 but a bit more boring (maybe because it's way too long, over 2 hours) and the contestants so far don't seem that talented or charismatic, except a few ones.

In produce obviously not everyone was super talented but at least there was more people with "it factor" idk how to explain it.

Idk about rigging but you can already tell the trainees they're pushing since the beginning (Yurina, Hikaru, Su Ruiqi, Doah, Yeseo, etc). Meanwhile there's a lot that barely get screentime or kinda get evil editing (like Jiwon from Chebul).

mnet use the mistake the trainee made during rehearsal and use it as they made mistake during the actual performance and show it in the ep.....tell me how bad this show again???  Some audiences don't want to vote that trainee because they thought she not deserves it because she makes a mistake.. After fan dung out all the fan cam, its turn out mnet still manipulate but tricking the audience which trainee did great which trainee did not..and turn out they all did great....mnet the Satan worshiper. there a reason why they say evil editing mnet...you need god in your life!

It's a different show so far, kinda weird tbh with the cells, because only members with most votes will debut, not the cells itself (?)

I just hope that the final line up is real (unlike Wanna One, IZ*ONE, X1)

the show is very much obviously part of the produce franchise even though they claim it’s all separate producers. the biggest difference is that in produce the trainees felt a little more natural and were maybe a bit more talented, even the best trainee in gp999 seems to be a B-rank from the produce franchise. 

if anything the only reason this show is talked about in social media is because somehow the c-team has a bigger presence there (i’ll never understand the reason because they’re all super bland) and the people that hate-chase mnet keeps their hype alive. 

so far i don’t think there is manipulation because the same trainees that were popular during the first reveal are the ones taking the top spots (yurina, yeseo, hikaru, ruiqi and others). mnet even said from the beginning that the show is gonna be edited in favor of the trainees with more popularity so they were very transparent with that. the issue that came out with the fancams is because they’re from different recordings and not just from the final performance and people claim it’s manipulated but on today’s episode we can see that they did in fact use the better performance of each girl as the fancam. one girl in the fiesta team can be seen crying in the background of another girl’s fancam but in the performance she was the one that got the most praises and didn’t make a mistake. on her own fancam she didn’t make any mistakes either. 

tldr: it’s boring, no one really stands out (especially vocal-wise) and it’s very obviously produce with lower quality production. i have a feeling that this group is gonna reach fromis-level popularity at most.
