This may be shitty to say, but most ppl are shitty in relationships prolly. Gaslight and negging are common and have been long excused/romanitized behaviors that only in recent years people call out. It is not surprising at all and if true fans can't be losing their mind over it defending it. Just hope they grow up and learn to treat their s/o better and by fans doing that at slightest criticism they're coddling him and he would continue to gaslight and etc. This is problem with stanning people as much as idol/maybe music fans in general does because they don't know the personally to die on hill for them, and if they do mess up, hold them accountable tbh
