Seiko Oomori Bullies and Beats Fellow ZOC Member Kannagi Maro in Shocking Audio Clip

A shocking audio clip has surfaced online! In the clip, one woman can be heard yelling at another, who replies to her in a frightened manner, in between cries. The angry woman then starts to physically attack the other. It appears that the two women in the audio clip are ZOC members Seiko Oomori and Kannagi Maro, respectively.

Seiko formed the idol group ZOC in 2018. She is both the group’s producer and a member. Maro, who joined ZOC in 2020, formerly went by her birth name, Fukuda Kanon, when she was part of Hello! Project, serving as a member of ANGERME most recently.

This whole incident seems to have arisen due to Seiko’s lack of self-esteem. Seiko recently sent a message to her fellow ZOC members, saying that she wanted to kill herself because people only focus on looks of the group’s members and compares them to each other.

After that, Maro tweeted a selfie telling her followers that she likes it when they tell her she looks cute, but she didn’t think this was related to Seiko’s issue. Seiko, however, thought otherwise.

Seiko and Maro later meet. Seiko confronts Maro about her tweet, saying that she made that tweet to embarass Seiko. Once again, Maro said that she didn’t think the two things were related. This sets Seiko off, resulting in her beating Maro.

It appears that Maro recorded the audio of her meeting with Seiko on her phone, in an effort to document it. Listen to the disturbing incident below (but don’t if audio of abuse bothers you!)!

[WARNING: it's triggering, so listen at your own discretion]

someone uploaded the whole audio with subtitles

in the last 30 seconds of the clip Seiko bangs on the table while screaming at the other girl who is obviously crying,

does anyone knows what happened in the very last bit? sounds like there was some sort of physical "confrontation" but i'm not sure

Why are people on Twitter saying this is PR for a new song?

that would be terrible PR, sounds like wishful thinking from fans

-

worth mention that a few hours after the incident Seiko posted the MV of a new song,

the production of the video seems super rushed so people think she is trying to deflect attention from her issue with Maro

According to this translated transcript, it appears that Maro ran out of the room and Seiko is chasing her.

Both of them are bitches. But Maro didn't deserve to be beaten.

What did Maro do?

I also think it's not PR, but the Seiko fans trying to deflect and minimize the damage. She is deflecting hard.

It's already stated in the OP. That was a mean thing to do. If your friend stated that they are suicidal because of their looks & being compared to one another. Maro knew what she was doing with that post. Of course Seiko would see the post, after all they are group members & probably follow each other. And the fact that she (Maro) immediately recorded the incident show she knew what was happening. Maro knew that Seiko would be upset about the post, therefore she came prepared with an recorder.

Would or not Maro thought that post wouldn't do anything to Seiko, it's still very distasteful.

Nobody else is responsible for your own sense of inferiority and people should not put themselves down so others would feel better? Like, of course, be sensitive towards other people, but is she not supposed to post selfies and be pretty because it triggers someone else? Seiko's reaction is not excusable. I sincerely doubt Maro intentionally baited her lol. Maybe this was recurring behavior from Seiko and Maro decided to protect herself this time by recording it.

I understand. But come on as friend that's disrespect. I cannot imagine my friend telling me that they’re insecure about their looks to point they want to kill themselves & then I go online to say to my fans "I love it when you tell me that I'm pretty". It's just rude, it's like you're just throwing into her face. Especially with the timing. Maro could be bit more considerate.

If you ask me this seem like a setup. Maro post -> Seiko angry -> Maro recording. (Maro seem well prepared with that recording).

but once Seiko decided to resort to verbal and physical violence as retribution it is Maro who ends becoming the victim

while we can speculate about why she decided to record this specific meeting it doesn't change the fact that Seiko acted out of her own volition, it not being recorded wouldn't have changed the outcome of their meeting since for starters she didn't know it was being recorded

and you can't ignore the position of power Seiko holds over Maro, she is the founder and producer of ZOC with the other girls being employees

That's why I said they are both wrong & Maro didn't deserve to be beaten.
