Are Twice's Melody Projects worth it, or should they have gotten Solos like the rest of the big 3?

I feel like for all the energy they put into the melody projects they should have just given them solos.  No shade but nobody wants to hear lame ass JYP, Taylor Swift and Camilla Cabbello covers...and I'm sure there were tons of scrapped twice songs that the girlies could have chosen from.  I feel like melody projects are just cheap fan service whereas a solo could actually raise the group's profile and give the girls more solo stans.  The group is well established now so there is no need to hold back the stars of the group anymore!

I'd prefer it if the girls had solos. IDK if they're using this project to see if it's worth it, but I'm not a fan of the melody project.

Tbh the melody projects can showcase their potential if given the right song, but I'd prefer if some of the girls had solos. Like its been almost 6 years, some members have been in JYPE for 10+ years (3MIX line) and JYP won't give them solo debut / OSTs!

i'm really in the minority here, but i don't really need solos from my faves. i like them as groups for a reason.

but i can also see them leaving jype because they obviously want solos

JYP uses those melody projects to test the waters but since they're all basically flops why waste more resources and money on things like their solos that won't be profitable

Famous people and companies are seeing how Youtube is really a platform, so I think they are doing it like that, to have content out there.
