Sandaime J Soul Brothers' Hiroomi Tosaka will be producing a new girl group in collab with HYBE LABELS

Recommended Posts

Interesting and quite surprising because I didn't know HYBE has a connection with LDH (whose most, if not all, of their acts including Sandaime JSB are under Avex's Rhythm Zone label). Before this, YG/YG artists were the ones who would always have some sort of collab with LDH artists. Curious to see if this new gg will be like E-girls

Sandaime JSB used to be so huge and even rivalling Arashi for the highest selling album category at one point.

Curious to see Hiroomi's works for HYBE's new Japanese gg.

This might be Sakura's group, since auditions are open to 25 year olds

Doubt it. There are people who said that they have to audition for the group and there can’t be a shoo-in. But then this is half Kpop group so Idk

I feel like alot people are too sure either about this possibly being Sakura's new group or that she's gonna redebut in any HYBE gg. I think differently. I feel like with her status, she's more likely signed to HYBE to manage her individual career in Japan. HYBE Japan. I assume it's not just solo music, but also for her acting gig, variety shows (tarento), gravure modelling, cfs, announcer (mc), etc. Doing various stuff. And by signing to HYBE, it gives her an advantage for her to promote outside Japan, globally especially Korea, West, etc. something that most Japanese agencies lack.

This group requires audition, so I think they're gonna get new and fresh faces and not someone well-known.

I'm confident that HYBE Japan is not a well established agency with deep connection to land Sakura big TV gig. if she want to be a regular of a popular variety show, a main cast of a drama on a main channel, she will need a big PURELY Japanese agency like Ohta Pro etc.

Neither can LDH. I don't remember any LDH's girl getting acting nor tv show host gig. LDH does not have strong network in tv industry.

Also, this project sounded more like LDH's group with HYBE Japan as marketing partner. I highly doubt Sakura will go to LDH, which cannot back her to go much further. LDH's girl group will never go bigger than IZ*One was.

Bet she’s gonna either sign with UMJ, Sony, Ohta Pro or Avex. I agree with you, Sakura’s image doesn’t go well with LDH image and content. LDH might not be as big as IZ*One in SK, but who knows globally.

Of tangent, LDH just debuted or about to debut Psychic Fever and I have a feeling they’re gonna get lots of international fans maybe even more than Ballistik Boyz. Specially with Jimmy, Tsurugi, Kokoro  and Weesa in the group they could fish fans from fandoms looking for members who aren’t just white and could relate to them.

Is there anything to question? No LDH's girl group will be even half as big as IZ*One globally. I will be shocked if Sweet Revenge (?) can ever be relevant.

This group isn’t only LDH but Hybe also. And I said you never know. Fate is fickle.

NiziU has JYP and, its international interest is ...

Also, you should note its HYBE Japan to involve in the project, not the main office.

Hence I said fate is fickle. Depends on how they promote.

people should relax their HYBE expectations and Sakura's new gg shit lol

Do we even know for sure Sakura’s gonna sign in with a group? Lol doubt she’d sign in with a group so she could divided her money that she’s already making solo for herself
