Mattel Turn Naomi Osaka Into A Barbie

Mattel has designed a new Barbie doll celebrating tennis star Naomi Osaka.

The figure arrives wearing a Nike tennis dress highlighted with brushstroke prints in pink and blue, inspired by her look at the Australian Open in 2020. The outfit is accessorized with a white visor along with blue sneakers and her Yonex tennis racket. The partnership follows the duo’s 2019 team-up, when Barbie first created a doll dedicated to the athlete.

“It’s such an honor to be a part of the Barbie Role Model series, and to remind young girls that they can make a difference in the world. I want young girls everywhere to feel empowered to dream big and to know that if they believe in themselves that anything is possible,” Osaka shares on her latest partnership in a press release.
