It's a bit boring. But it's okay, it does a heavenly sound to it. I like it but it not something I could have repeat. I love aesthetic & the MV.

such a good summer track! love the optimistic, carefree vibes.

also, the MV style is similar to Holiday and All Night. I like this style, I hope it can continue to be the Soshi brand. 

I do have to say, i feel Dynamite is a large influence on this record. It's disco genre, the subject matters in the lyrics are really similar, and so is the tempo of the song. But the vibe is more chill, like IU's Lilac. Yeah, it's like Lilac and Dynamite had a baby.

Weekend is a bit meh for me. Compared to her earlier singles and title tracks, lately her singles have been weak for me. Not my cup of tea but I can imagine many kpop fans might find it interesting. Hey the thing is Taeyeon's discography is super diverse so even if you don't like some of her stuff, you'll definitely find and bop to your type of music in her discography.

This is such a chill and nice song, like something you'd listen in a summer evening in a beach lounge or something. I agree it reminds to Doja Cat sound.

At first listen I was disappointed. A bit bland and I found the concept and dance moves to be cringe. 

But I was sold at the second listen. The chorus got stucked in my head and I love the quirckiness of the whole thing.

You know, Taeyeon used to hate cute concept with a passion. I guess she would have found it embarrassing to do some of the dance moves here or wear those cute pink outfits back then. But doing this willingly for her solo and seeming to have fun with it, shows to me that she grew as a person and as an artist. She learnt to be more laid back and don't take herself so seriously and that she can please her fans with a lot of faces of herself. Also reading some of her interviews, I am proud of the person that Taeyeon had become through the years.

For me, her My Voice and Purpose albums are peak Taeyeon music. But this is fresh and interesting for her. The lyrics are a whole mood and the chorus gets stuck in your head, I expect the track will receive a lot of love from the general public.

This is totally Doja cat inspired, sound and concept wise.

I like it, but it is underwhelming compared to her previous hard-to-top music tbh, it's not catchy enough but then i again i appreciate her diversity and trying out different styles.
