I'm the same about art.

watercolors are gorgeous. I wish I was good with them  

but watercolor pencils are my favs because they're inexpensive and not messy.

My sister got into it so much that she ended up taking AP Drawing Portfolio and AP something else with graphic design. I envied her. 

You can't?? Why?!!? This is outrageous! It's an elective in all of my county's high schools. Sorry about your school though D: 

 

I actually enjoyed photography and it would've been better if the teacher weren't so boring :l She made everything dull but it was cool to make a camera out of a box and go into the red room? Idk whats the actual name. The photos came out pretty cool. I didn't take Photography 2 because I was still pursuing drawing. I might take both drawing and photography since seniors get first pick before classes fill up    

 

I go to a magnet school so idk if it's just the particular program that I'm in or if it's just not offered as an elective for the whole school (the kids in the art program have their art classes every day for at least 2 hours and now they're doing some exhibition in the cafeteria and putting up all their paintings and I hate them so much omg)

 

eww I hate teachers like that, especially when it's an interesting subject, but as long as you learned it's cool.

Magnet school? 

 

Advanced art students do the same in my school where they work on projects for a whole year and they also do an exhibition. When I see their works it makes me feel like I should just quit. -.- 

 

I take 6 classes, 4 are for educational ones like ( Economics, Physics, Math, Lit) and the other 2 are electives, which for me are AP French and Drawing (Hopefully). 

 

oh they don't have those in your county?

a magnet school focuses a certain area of study and you have to apply to get in, so there are performing art magnet schools, STEM magnet schools etc. I guess the main focus is college prep but idk

my school has a specialized curriculum for pretty much everything so we have academies and strands (for example there's the Health Academy--which has Dental, EMT, Nursing, Pharmacy and Medical Assisting for strands--, the Communications & Entertainment Academy--Sound Engineering, Commercial Art, TV Production, Theatre and Drafting for strands--and 3-4 other academies I'm too lazy too list. it's a weird system, but I like it.

 

I also take 6 classes (3-4 core classes (Math, Science, English, and sometimes History--if not an elective), then 2 for strand classes, which are supposed to kind of be electives idk

strand classes are like what we're specializing in.

like, my academy is Cambridge (just because Cambridge University decides our curriculum) and I'm in the Forensic Science strand and so my strand classes include Criminal Justice classes, Crime Scene Tech classes, Human Behavior classes (so trippy omg it's just about serial killers), etc.

 

to imagine my school, there are three trailors (teacher's building, classroom/physics, and cafeteria/biology)

the three are connected by a wooden ramp (they're up high)

we have an outside pavilion for an eating area

my community college next door let us use their dingy building (the only building we have with foundation)

if a tornado came, I'd be screwed

 

yeah that's basically it...

 

I have 8 classes per semester and I have 1-2 electives per semester

the point of my school is to get an associates degree

 

ahh my middle school used to be like that. it wasn't awful, except for the humidity as many of the portables (mini trailors I guess?) didn't have air conditioning.

ohhh so then your classes are basically all at the college? my strand is the only one that takes classes at out community college, but the IT and Health kids get some weird certification so technically they don't need a degree to start working in their field.

we don't live in tornado alley luckily but this year and last year we've had tornado warnings and stuff

maybe we'll get a building if something happens

Well in my case, the sketches of real people don't turn out to be extremely awful but I can't draw Asian people at all. I tried drawing taemin once. I almost cried at how ugly I made him.

 

that's interesting how you can't draw Asians.

I know a couple of people that draw mostly anime and can draw realism but when they do everyone comes out looking Asian lol.

I was doodling heads like this a few months ago (idk it was a phase), but I can't remember how long it's been before then.

 

 

 

 

 

I can draw anime well but I don't see the connection with Asian. Except the fact that it is originally Japanese , anime with their big ass blue,/green/red/pink eyes look anything but Asian. I don't mean to be racist or anything, but I honestly don't see it.

My parents sent me to art classes when I was like five or six but I quit after like two years. I completely abandoned drawing until I was about 10 when I started watching amines and reading mangas.
My parents used to send me to all sorts of classes when I was younger. I used to learn art, music, swimming, badminton. Music and badminton are the only ones that stuck though. Sad thing is, I learnt swimming for 7years but I suck so bad at it that I'm pretty sure if I fall into some kind of lake or something, I'd still drown ;_____;

 

I wish my parents put me in a lot of stuff ;__; now I can't do anything. lol and it's okay I can't swim.

Do cases actually work? I've had my phone for over a year without a case and I'm think of getting one just now. lol

 

this is my first time getting a case.

I haven't experienced any serious damage without a case, but a LOT of scratches and because my last phone was white and made out of plastic, the plastic would chip and leave ugly black markings behind. 

I wouldn't drop it much at all, but scratches would magically appear and I don't want that to happen to my new phone. so jealous of people with their pretty phones.
