Damn, hope it's a  planned thing or she pretty much tossed her life away.

Lmao at people downvoting. Not everyone thinks a kid is "a blessing" or are even fit to become parents to begin with. Grow up.

Philippines and family planning usually don't go in the same sentence.

So are you Thai or Filipino? Because you seem incredibly opinionated about both countries.

Because you said that an unplanned pregnancy equals throwing one's life away, which is a pretty immature and old fashioned thing to say so of course people found fault with it. You could've worded it differently. Not everyone wants a child or think of a pregnancy as a blessing but your wording was off.

People who have kids when they don't have the finances to are essentially throwing their lives away. My brother had a kid straight off high school and he was financially ruined for most of his 20's and he had become a deadbeat dad recently (using covid as an excuse) because he couldn't keep up financially anymore. Goes to show that dumbasses be having kids when they shouldn't in the first place. Childbearing isn't a game.

Old fashioned? The old fashioned thing to say and do is keeping the kid and smile and pretend to be happy because it’s a “blessing”.

No, havinga kid is not all that it’s pegged out to be, pregnancy can destroy a woman’s body, and then she’s obligated to raise a person for at least 18 to 20 years IF they manage to be financially stable, are not sick in any way and a myriad of different things. Don’t pretend women in Asian countries aren’t forced to quit everything that makes them a person to look after their child; no job, no extra income, less or no personality for their own, no time, but a hell of a lot more work...yeah...sounds like a hoot.

I can tell you of the many women who regret having children. And before you go the predictable way, note I said regret, not that the don’t love their children. But it is a taboo thing to even think that in the first place, much less say it, so they bury it and pretend everything is all dandy when it’s not.

That’s why I said I hoped this is a planned pregnancy, because if it’s not, all the time she worked her ass off to become an idol wasted, her aspirations gone just like that.

Normalizing not wanting children and aborting unwanted pregnancies must be the thing to do, especially in this day and age where raising a child is becoming increasingly difficult for the majority of the lower to mid class, but too many are concerned with policing what a woman must do and even think.

I personally don't want to go through a pregnancy myself, nor do I want to have children. I haven't said a word about keeping the baby. I'm pro choice. She can give birth to the baby or she could have an abortion. She could give the child up for adoption. She can do whatever she wants and I'd feel the same about it - that none of us have the right to decide for her whether that is throwing her life away or not.

i'm also incredibly opinionated about China but notice how you didn't throw them in there lol.

What are you suggesting? Sure, let's throw them in there too. How could you possibly be so knowledgeable on the social issues of all of these different countries that you feel so comfortable making such biting commentary on all of them?

that your logic of saying people with opinions on certain countries must also be from said country is INANE. I'd like to see you say this to anyone who has anything to say about the Israel/Palestine situation or North Korea
