JYPE gives another statement about ITZY Lia's bullying accusations + want a more thorough look into it

They can backtrack all they want but it doesn't change the fact that the accuser was acquitted despite JYP being a large company with an influence

They posted this statement back in february after the bullying accusation:

In an official statement, the company stated, “This case is an ongoing investigation after we sued the writer last year for defamation and spreading of false information. We would like to inform you that we are still waiting for the results, according to the legal procedure.”

 

Regarding this latest statement, I actually dont' understand half of it? Maybe it's due to translation or my poor understanding of english idk. If someone could explain it to me better please.

The one who accused her of bullying is the same person who posted one of/all the 5 malicious posts back in 2018? Or is it someone else? What does that acquitance have to do with any of it?

And they sued for defamation regarding the bullying post or the past hate posts?

If the translation is correct, the accuser mentioned that they were being investigated by police. I believe the the acquaintance was jumping in to sort of defend Lia? From what I've seen people say, that person was a classmate of the two and pretty much refuted that what happened between Lia and her friends and that person and their friends wasn't bullying but 'fighting/arguing' and that the original post got deleted once that person jumped in. I could be wrong about that. 

Originally they were trying to sue for the other posts, but I imagine they wanted to also sue for the February post if they thought it was also made with malicious intent. At this point, they want to have this reinvestigated to determine if there was ill intent or probably to see how their stories line up compared to whatever Lia told them.
