I'm going to go with Happiness because they are much stronger dancers and have a bit more presence in regards to their live stages and performances. They've also released a decent amount of material that varies from each other but contains a certain cohesion to them. Flower have much more mature material that usually catches my attention but they have no variety in their sound and it feels like they've been re-releasing the same song over and over again. I've been waiting for Flower to release a different track that sets them apart from their past material but they've gotten much too comfortable with their sound. They are also quite solid live but they lack the power and energy that Happiness have.

I love Anna though, so its good to hear she's be placed in a group rather than just expg dancer...

 

 

 

 

 

 

I prefer Happiness , but I think Flower seems more appealing and successful in terms of how their singles performed....

yes it's a permanent line up. and Mimu left the group.

With Mimu gone, I guess I'd just focus on Anna Suda for now , gonna miss Mimu's cat eyes.

 

 

 

 

The other new member is Ruri Kawamoto. She's so pretty. :ahmagah:

I agree with MoreTokyo. If you look at FLOWER's forget-me-not Gundam edition single, it has all their three songs (Still, SAKURA Regret and forget-me-not.) When lined up like this you feel like they have the same sound ever since they debuted. The b-sides are good but those I mentioned are the singles with PVs, promotions and everything. It's kinda stupid to have them release the same sound in every single even if they're good at it.

I'm a sucker for ballads so I didn't mind that before, but now that they're up against Happiness, unless they present something different, I'd totally choose Happiness over them.

Ruri was in Neverending Story I think, but she was at the very back so you can barely see her.

She can sing pretty well too. She has a nice voice.

In the episode, they cover the FLOWER girls recording their title track; reminiscent of 3JSB's HANABI.

The girls come up with their choreography to the track "Color Me Up", for the live on 5/25.

 

For the Happiness segment... I think MAYU mentions that she's still not 100% and won't appear in the Musha Shugyou (their live performances across Japan); need confirmation on that part.

 

The recording of Boyfriend, you hear Happiness' Ruri and KAREN / FLOWER's Washio and Muto.

 

Other parts of the episode, Shionoya Sayaka performs her 3rd Single Ocean Blue at her mini solo live.

I was just watching this (the whole episode, not just the song preview). :lol: I like the contrasting concepts for the girls (sun and moon). And Ruri! I've never heard her sing before, so I was pleasantly surprised. She brings a very mature sound to Happiness that I like a lot. :O

You're right, she's not participating in the mushashugyou and the single.
