We all should be able to have the bravery to turn down what others think is a company with great benefits if we don't think it's the path for us. We only live once, after all!!! Technically not her solo yet, but she is the only one singing and it was a hit, she'll be fine

Leaving this here just in case anyone thinks they're over.

She ended her exclusive contract of group+solo activities with rbw and started another one of group activities only.

That's all. The dramatics pleaase.

Idk why people think they're "over". You can still work as a group even if you're in a different company (I know it's difficult but it's not impossible). Plus the other 3 can continue as Mamamoo just fine too.

That's the thing, Wheein still has a contract with RBW for group activities so she's still in the company in a way. 

She's in RBW for Mamamoo activities and under another agency for her solo career. Period.

That sentence would apply if Moonbyul was the one who's leaving, but the one leaving is one of the girls who carry the weight of most of their songs along with Solar.

Then there's not any problem with them continue as Mamamoo. They might only have more spread out comebacks, like one comeback a year but they've been doing that since last year already anyway.

2PM makes it work. BEG makes it work. The reason the other groups aren't making it work are simply because of the companies that are involved plus copyright issues. For example, if GD were to leave, it'd be difficult for BigBang to reunite because YG has their name copyrighted.

2PM are under different companies? 😮 I thought they were all still under JYP, but they haven't had a comeback because they had been busy between enlisting and solo stuff.

But yeah, you can always make it work even if it's just one comeback every now and then, unless there's company/copyright issues indeed. For example for GOT7 I think the name is copyrighted too but they can always pull a Highlight and create their own company/re-debut.

As far as I know, Taec is under 51K. If a NICE 2pm fan can add on, please do so.

I think with GOT7 their labels will support them. AOMG and H1GHER I know are supporting their group efforts.

Yeah, their companies can support them but I'm not sure if JYP has the name "GOT7" trademarked so in any case they could reunite but couldn't use the group name.

Who clowned this? This is relevant

The future is always uncertain for group members who leave their agencies but if she extended her contract exclusively for Mamamoo activities, then that's plenty promising that she'll keep making some appearances with the group

It would be different if she was just like "I'm not really leaving Mamamoo!" and then ended all connections with RBW. I would have been like we'll see sis lmao

So basically she's signed with other agency for her solo career but renewed with RBW for Mamamoo group activities.
