This is so weird though. How often does Ellen host kpop stages like this? I knew American broadcasters have been eager to host Blackpink and BTS but I'm surprised to see Ellen hosting Twice? Ever since JYP has been trying to get TWICE in the American market, he put them on Ellen. Luckily she didn't interview them. She's had Super M, BTS and Monsta X on her show before. Also Kpop idol interviews done by Americans talk show host tend to be reeeeally awkward. Especially if there aren't multiple fluent members. This is why they need to stop waiting until the next album to do an English version of their title tracks. It's pretty pointless at that point, as you can no longer promote it. Getting them on daytime television, even without a problematic & disinterested host, probably isn't the best way to promote them over here either. I still think it's funny that they were advertised to perform on the Late Show, only to end up on their YouTube channel and not the show itself. Makes me think JYP didn't want to shell out enough cash to actually get them on the show. Either way they'll never endear themselves to the general public until some of them learn English & can do interviews.
