Uhhh I guess they are doing it to promote their song I guess. Besides the obvious controversy why would they wanna be on Ellen? The way Super M was treated still makes me feel a certain way. Ellen was being such a party pooper during the episode, I felt second hand embarrassment... imagine being excited to see  Ellen and she's being dry as hell and annoyed. No one deserves that.

I wonder how they're gonna communicate with her since no member can truly speak english.

I guess that's kind of a blessing in disguise since they won't have to interact much with that god awful sad excuse of a host for longer than they need to.

I'd much rather see them at the Late Late Night Show if JYPE insists on having them attend American talk shows.

My guess is that they'll just prerecord their performance (obviously) for Ellen and thats it. I don't expect to interact much given the distance rn.

 

I hope they get to do performances for other shows but promo is promo I guess. Anyways, can't wait for the other teasers.

I hope they will just perform and won't have to seat through one of Ellen's uninspired interview (she is always so dry/condescending whenever she has a kpop group, it's very awkward). 

Hopefully this will be good promo for them...

I think it's only performance. Cause on the tweet they said "opening the first stage with Ellen show"

hasn't it been known for a while that Ellen is not a nice person IRL? Whenever I see AskReddit threads about which celebrities are actually nice IRL and which celebrities are POS IRL, Ellen is always mentioned in the latter category from those who have met her or know someone who has worked with her.

Why didn't they cancel this show. I thought it got cancelled last year after Ellen's controversy but I'm surprised and annoyed that it's still on air.

It’s been cancelled and it will stop airing next year.
