Honestly, they should have debuted in Japan while they're on their 9-month hiatus. They literally have a wholeass Takahashi Juri istg...

Anyways stream the retro bop of the year!

  • SLY changed the title to Rocket Punch to debut in Japan under Yoshimoto Music

Is Yoshimoto that top company in Japan for comedians? Is this their music sublabel?

Or is this completely different and unrelated to that comedian company?

Most likely the comedian company. But they have Lapone which is JO1’s label. That could be the label they’re under later on.

Yes. Yoshimoto also manages NMB48.

Pretty sure they're gonna be successful there. Not only because they have Juri and the members are fluent in Japanese, but their cute/quirky/retro style is really appealing for j-fans.

Since Korea doesn't appreciate their bops at least I hope they do well in Japan.
