I think Wonho can be considered a successful soloist.

he sells over 100k albums just by himself, i'd say that's VERY successful for a soloist (for context, his average sales with two releases is pretty similar to taemin's average for his korean releases)

i don't see them reuniting, which is unfortunate for the fans who'd want that.  wasn't there just a fuss about some mx members being spotted with him on vacation or something?  he's also due to enlist soon...so.  not much room for that in the near future.

He's my ultimate bias, and although I loved him in MX I think he's done very well as a soloist and I enjoy seeing him do his own thing. I do wish we could see them interact again one day officially but I don't think he'd ever join the group again. I've accepted that fact a long time ago and it's time to move on!

Oh he's very succesful, which he deserves for putting so much heart and effort into writing and composing majority of his own songs (if not all of them, I'm not sure).

I've never seen an idol so attached to his fans as Wonho and after everything he had to go through, I'm terribly happy to see him back to interacting with his people. I know for certain that he has been torturing himself for thinking he hurt and let Monbebe down, but I feel like he has been making great progress in coming in terms with the past (at least I hope so).

Wonho's departure will always be painful because he didn't deserve the hell he had to push through. MX will never be whole without him, but I genuinely think that it'll be better for him to not make a u-turn now. To me it seemed like Wonho carried the most anxiety about the thought of the group breaking one day, so although he didn't deserve the type of departure that he was half-forced to do, I feel like things have resolved in the best possible way for Wonho and he got a brand new succesful career ahead of him.
